During the microorganism extermination operation at the end of cleaning, both ends of the exhaust circulation pipe body are connected to the suction port of the cleaner body and the cylinder suction tool housed in the suction tool holding part. When the electric blower is driven, the electric blower's suction causes the exhaust flow of the electric blower to be guided from the cylinder suction device to the dust collection chamber through the exhaust circulation pipe body, and further sucked into the electric blower and circulated. The exhaust heat heats the inside of the dust collection chamber, raising the temperature inside the dust collection chamber to a temperature that kills harmful microorganisms such as mites, thereby killing the harmful microorganisms.

Next, after the cleaning is completed, a mite extermination operation is performed to exterminate harmful microorganisms such as mites. During this mite extermination operation, connect the suction side connection tube 27 of the exhaust circulation pipe body 26 to the suction port 12 instead of the suction hose,
The exhaust side connecting cylinder 28 is connected to the narrow mouth suction tool 21 housed in the suction tool holding cylinder 22, and the locking claw 2 of the lid body 20 is connected.
5 is engaged with the engagement recess 28 to secure the attachment. When the switch button 32 is pressed in this state, the bimetallic temperature switch 30 is turned on and the electric blower 13 is driven, and due to the suction of the electric blower 13, the exhaust flow of the electric blower 13 enters the suction tool holding cylinder 22 from the exhaust side 16. The suction port 1 passes through the narrow-mouth suction device 21 and the exhaust circulation pipe body 26.
2 to the paper bag filter 17 in the dust collection chamber 6, and then sucked into the electric blower 13, circulated, and heated by the exhaust heat of the electric blower 13, heating the inside of the dust collection chamber 6. After the temperature reaches 50℃ or higher, which is the killing temperature for harmful microorganisms such as mites,
When the temperature of the exhaust gas circulating in the exhaust gas circulation pipe body 26 reaches a predetermined temperature (60° C.), the bimetallic temperature switch 30 is turned off and the operation of the electric blower 13 is stopped, and in this state, the harmful microorganisms are killed. are doing.

The bimetallic temperature switch 30 is provided in the suction type connecting tube 27 of the exhaust circulation pipe body 26,
The above-mentioned mite extermination operation can be performed simply by attaching the exhaust circulation pipe body 26 to the vacuum cleaner body 1, and since the exhaust circulation pipe body 26 with a short overall length is used during the mite extermination operation without using a long suction hose, the suction port 1
The temperature difference between the two parts and the exhaust outlet 24 part is reduced, so the temperature on the exhaust side 16 of the electric blower 13 does not rise abnormally, and the heating efficiency in the dust collection chamber 6 is increased, so that dust mites can be exterminated in a short time. You can finish driving.

During this mite extermination operation, the exhaust side connecting tube 28 of the exhaust circulation pipe body 26 constitutes a part of the exhaust flow circulation path by connecting to the narrow-mouth suction device 21 housed in the suction device holding tube 22. It is easy to manufacture, and the connecting portion of the exhaust side connecting tube 28 does not get in the way and does not become a nuisance.

Further, the exhaust circulation pipe body 26 can be used in place of a suction hose for simple cleaning. At this time, the narrow-mouth suction device 21 may be used by fitting into the fitting inner wall surface 37 of the exhaust side connecting tube 28, and since the suction side connecting tube 27 is approximately L-shaped, the exhaust circulation pipe can be used. Even if the body 26 is pulled, a stiffness acts between the suction side connecting cylinder 27 and the suction port 12, that is, the suction side connecting cylinder 27 and the suction port 12
A downward force acts on the outer part and an upward force acts on the inner part of the suction port 12, so that it does not easily come off.
