との間に食込み部材を装着して前記ナットを締め付ける
ことにより、前記食込み部材が継手本体内に装着した接
続管の外面を縮径して接続管の引き抜け阻止を行なう管
継手において、前記食込み部材は継手本体に当接する前
端面と接続管の外面に当接する食込み内面とナットの押
圧面に当接して継手本体側に押圧される薄肉円筒部とか
らなり、ナットの締め付けにより前記食込み部材が継手
本体側に押圧されて縮径すると共に薄肉円筒部が変形し
て管への締め付け力がほぼ一定に保たれることを特徴と
する管継手。
