Traditionally, building decorative finishing methods such as brick laying and ceramic tiling have been used to apply fired products such as factory-produced bricks, ceramic tiles, and mosaic tiles, or processed and cut natural stones and artificial stones to the walls of buildings. It is applied to floors, ceilings, etc. by a so-called plastering method or tile method, in which one piece or a plurality of pieces are pasted and finished, and as a result, decorative joint patterns are formed in predetermined areas. However, conventional construction methods require enormous costs and construction costs, so today, decorative wall coating materials and decorative floor coating materials (hereinafter referred to as , thick coating materials) are increasingly being used. This decorative method using a thick coating material is effective in reducing costs and construction costs, but the finish tends to be relatively flat and monotonous. However, today, thick coating materials are applied using equipment such as spray guns, spatulas, and trowels to create geometric patterns such as brick-like, tile-like, and stone-like patterns on walls, floors, etc. There is an increasing demand for construction methods that do this. Specific examples of these conventional construction methods are as follows.

According to these methods [A] to [D], pattern materials such as paper, organic foam, etc. used for tapes and molds (hereinafter referred to as mold materials) are temporarily temporarily removed before applying the coating material. A peelable adhesive or similar material is applied to the back of the tape to temporarily hold it on a wall, floor, etc., and then it is removed. However, these construction methods have various drawbacks. For example, it is difficult to obtain the desired decorative pattern because meandering often occurs due to expansion and contraction of the mold material or due to the complicated pasting process ([A]
and [C] to [D]), the cross section of the thick coating material coating film after removing the mold material is likely to be distorted ([A] to [C]),
The mold material absorbs solvents such as water in the thick coating material, making it difficult to remove the mold material ([A] to [B]), and the mold material is bulky and difficult to transport in large quantities ([B]) , It takes time and effort to reuse the mold material, and the work is complicated ([D]).

本発明は、これらの欠点を取り除き、整然とし
た所望の化粧模様を得るものである。
The present invention eliminates these drawbacks and provides a neat and desired decorative pattern.

The present invention relates to a novel method for forming a decorative joint pattern,
A paint layer containing heat-expandable macrocapsules is formed on the surface of the construction base material, such as the walls, floors, and ceilings of buildings to which the primer has been applied, and a peelable adhesive layer is formed on the back side. A decorative joint pattern material made of paper material on which a The expanded decorative joint pattern material is peeled off and removed while the coating material is still wet, and then a topcoat material is applied as necessary and dried. A decorative joint formwork is installed, and the edge cutting precision between the thick coating material and the molding material is good, and the removal of the molding material is easy.
In addition, it has the characteristics that it is easy to transport the pattern material and the overall patterning work is also very easy.

Figures 2 to 4 show the process of forming a decorative joint pattern using this decorative joint pattern material, and Figure 2 shows the steps in which the decorative joint pattern material with the unexpanded paint layer b is first used. After applying and drying an undercoat material h that has good mutual adhesion with the thick coating material to be applied subsequently to the base material e such as concrete, mortar, concrete block, asbestos slate, gypsum board, etc. to be constructed, Release paper d for the decorative joint pattern material
The figure shows the state in which it has been peeled off and affixed to the surface of the undercoat material h.
Here, the paint layer b containing heat-expandable microcapsules is defined as having a volatile liquid that evaporates by heating in its center and a temperature at the vaporization temperature of the volatile liquid (in actual use, approximately 80°C) outside. It contains as an essential component a heat-expandable microcapsule that has a layer of thermoplastic resin that softens at temperatures above 180°C (preferably below 180°C), and the vehicle is a synthetic polymer bond such as ordinary synthetic resin or synthetic rubber. The microcapsules are made by blending ordinary inorganic and/or organic pigments, other extender pigments, additives, solvents, etc. as materials and pigments.

It refers to synthetic polymer paper, etc., and the peelable adhesive refers to one that can be used as a normal adhesive.

Next, FIG. 3 shows a device (e.g., a hot roll, a hot iron, etc.) used to heat the surface paint layer b of the decorative joint pattern material to a temperature at which the thermally expandable microcapsules can expand.
This shows a state in which a uniform expanded layer b' of paint is formed by pressing f or applying hot air at the same temperature. The expanded paint layer b' of the decorative joint pattern material is prepared in advance so that the thickness of the decorative joint pattern material after expansion is at least 1 mm, that is, it is composed of the paper material a and the peelable adhesive layer c. When the thickness is approximately 0.2 mm, the expanded paint layer b is prepared to have a thickness of at least 0.8 mm after expansion. In such preparation, the expansion ratio (thickness after expansion divided by thickness before expansion) of the thermally expandable paint layer is approximately 3 to 20 times, although it depends on the thickness of each layer. The expanded decorative joint area formed in this way continues to thicken because the peelable adhesive layer c adheres to the primer h by heating with a strength higher than the initial adhesive strength (adhesive strength when used at room temperature). When the coating material g is applied, there is no fear that the expanded decorative joint pattern material will become brittle or peel off due to the thickness of the thick coating material g.

As the thick coating material, various synthetic resin coating materials or synthetic rubber coating materials such as solvent-based, water-based, and non-solvent types can be used, but they are easy to work with, non-damaging of the expanded decorative joint material, and thermal expansion properties. In view of the selectivity of the vehicle for the coating layer containing microcapsules, it is preferable to use cement or an aqueous dispersion or solution of a synthetic polymer as the vehicle rather than a solvent-based coating containing an organic solvent.

Figure 4 shows that after the thick coating material g has been applied, and while the thick coating material is still dry, the expanded decorative joint pattern material and the unnecessary thick coating material that has been applied to its surface are removed at the same time. This refers to the process of peeling and removing, and in the case of decorative joint pattern materials such as masking tape, cellulose paper, and organic foam, the joint pattern materials often break during this process, but when the method of the present invention is used, this can be avoided. There is no risk of this happening, and the work is extremely easy.

In this way, for example, a tile-like decorative joint pattern is formed. According to this method, it is easy to install the desired orderly decorative joint form, and the edge cutting accuracy between the thick coating material and the molding material is also good. Moreover, it is an innovative construction method that could not be obtained using conventional methods, as the mold material can be easily removed, the mold material is easy to transport, and the overall patterning work is also very easy.

In the present invention, synthetic resin varnish, synthetic resin enamel, synthetic resin blend paint,
A top coat material such as a water-based varnish or water-based enamel can be applied, and such a top coat material is not only advantageous in that it further improves the durability of the thick coat material, but also has the ability to prevent buildup in the concave parts of the patterned uneven parts. This prevents the accumulation of dust, dirt, etc. that cause dirt.
It also varies depending on the type of top coat material used, but
Depending on the color and gloss of the top coat material, the decorative joint pattern finish becomes even more luxurious.
