Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate substrate selectivity for printing inks and make a printed tacky tape conform to diversified small-quantity production. CONSTITUTION:A printed tacky tape is obtained by forming a tacky agent layer 2 composed of a transparent tacky agent on one surface of a support 1 composed of a transparent thermoplastic resin film and printing the above- mentioned tacky agent layer 2. The printing is readily carried out and the tacky tape of good quality can be produced at a low cost. The tacky tape is responsive even to diversified small-quantity production of different printings without deteriorating the production efficiency.

However, when a polyolefin resin is used as the synthetic resin for forming the synthetic resin layer, the surface activity of the polyolefin resin is low, so that the surface of the polyolefin resin can be printed or a pressure-sensitive adhesive can be used. It is necessary to perform corona discharge treatment in advance before applying. Also, when changing the printing, it is necessary to interrupt the undercoating and pressure-sensitive adhesive coating in the post-process. In the case of high-mix low-volume production, the primer is applied after printing, and then the pressure-sensitive adhesive is further applied. Therefore, there is a problem that the manufacturing time is long and the delivery time is delayed.

The transparent thermoplastic resin film used in the present invention is a stretched polypropylene film,
Examples include stretched polyvinyl chloride film, polyethylene terephthalate film, polyethylene film, and the like, which may be colored to such an extent that transparency is not lost. The thickness is preferably 30 to 70 μm. The transparent adhesive used in the present invention may be either a synthetic rubber type or an acrylic type adhesive, and the thickness of the adhesive layer is 15
It is preferably about 30 μm. The adhesive tape of the present invention is
When the printing area is large, the adhesive strength is reduced, and therefore, it is more suitable for printing characters such as product names, company names, etc., lines of frames, etc., than surface patterns, etc. The printing method used in the present invention may be any of flexographic printing, letterpress printing, and screen printing, but it is preferable to employ flexographic printing which is easy to plate-making, has a short delivery time, and is inexpensive. As the printing ink used in the present invention, a hot-melt type resin in which a pigment is mixed is used by heating and melting,
The printing layer is highly elastic and has good adhesiveness with the adhesive layer,
The printing layer deforms following the deformation of the adhesive layer during winding, etc.
It is preferable because cracking and peeling from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are unlikely to occur.
Examples of hot-melt resins include ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS), styrene-ethylene-
A melting point of 80 to 200 obtained by blending an elastic material such as butylene-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) with a tackifying resin such as an aliphatic petroleum resin, a rosin resin and a terpene resin.
Compositions at ° C are preferably used. As the pigment, it is preferable to use a masterbatch in which a mineral pigment is mixed with a tackifying resin in advance. A silicone-based, emulsion-based or solvent-based release agent is preferably applied to the surface of the support of the present invention opposite to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

According to the inventions of claims 1 and 2, an adhesive layer made of a transparent adhesive is formed on one surface of a support made of a transparent thermoplastic resin film, and the adhesive layer is printed. Therefore, printing is possible regardless of the support. or,
The undercoating agent for printing is not necessary, the fixability of the printing ink is good, and printing is performed after the adhesive tape is manufactured, so that the manufacturing process is simplified. Further, in the invention of claim 2, as the printing ink, a mixture of a hot-melt resin and a pigment is used by heating and melting, so that the printing layer can follow the deformation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the adhesion of the printing layer. Good adhesion to the agent layer,
Even when the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is rewound or peeled from the non-adhered body, it does not peel from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the printing adhesive tape of claims 1 and 2 is constructed as described above, no primer is required for printing, and printing is easy regardless of the material of the support, and the quality is high. Good quality can be manufactured at low cost. In addition, since printing is performed after manufacturing the adhesive tape, it is possible to cope with small-lot production of a wide variety of products with different printing without lowering manufacturing efficiency. Further, in the printed pressure-sensitive adhesive tape according to the second aspect, the adhesiveness of the printing layer to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is good, and even when the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is rewound or peeled from the non-adhered body, it does not peel from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. According to the third aspect of the present invention, various kinds of printing adhesive tapes can be efficiently produced in small quantities.
