[Means for Solving the Problems, Actions and Effects of the Invention]
The present invention is an apparatus for forming a transfer tail between a pair of adjacent yarn feeders that are movably held on a yarn feeder stand, and is a device for forming a transfer tail of one yarn feeder and another yarn feeder. Including a catching means for catching the thread end of the body, and a knotter for joining both thread ends caught by the catching means,
The catching means is arranged such that the action portion of the catching means is located on or near the movement locus of the yarn end of the yarn feeder when the yarn feeder is moved. According to the present invention, the catching means is arranged so that the action portion of the catching means is located on or near the movement locus of the yarn end of the yarn supplying body when the yarn supplying body is moved. Therefore, the yarn end may be caught only after the yarn end is close to the acting portion of the catching means. Therefore, it is not necessary to move the catching means to the yarn end in order to catch the yarn end. As a result, the movement control and movement mechanism of the catching means for catching the yarn end can be dispensed with, and the overall movement control and movement mechanism of the catching means can be simplified.

In the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 13, the opening end portion, which is the operating portion of one suction tube 42, has the tray holding portion 2 when the yarn feeding body 12 is fed to the yarn feeding means 10 by the conveying means 34.
It is located on or near the moving path through which the head thread 12a held by 8 passes. Therefore, the suction tube 42 sucks the head yarn 12 a of the yarn feeder 12 that hangs down from the tip of the holding portion 28 of the tray until the yarn feeder 12 is lowered and held by the yarn feeding means 10. Can be pulled into. In addition, the opening end of the other suction tube 40 moves counterclockwise from the supply position toward the standby position.
The trailing thread 12b held by the holding portion 30 of the tray that is rotated together with the trailing thread 12b is positioned on or near the rotation path.
Therefore, the suction tube 40 can suck the tail yarn 12b of the yarn feeder that hangs down from the holding portion 30 and pull it into the yarn feeder 12 during the rotational movement of the yarn feeder 12. Suction tube 40,4
In the case of a yarn feeder to which a tray having no holding portions 28 and 30 is attached, the opening end 2 is located on or near the movement locus of the yarn end hanging from the yarn feeder.
In this case, it is desirable that a part of the yarn end be fixed in advance at a certain position of the yarn feeder so that the movement loci of the yarn ends of the individual yarn feeders are the same. For example, the yarn end may be held on the surface of the yarn feeder with only fluff, or may be glued to the surface of the yarn feeder so that weft insertion is not hindered.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the weft of the yarn feeder 12 in the unwinding position is consumed, the auxiliary yarn feeder 1 in the standby position on the left side is transferred through the transfer tail.
Weft yarn is supplied from 2. As shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, while the weft yarn is being supplied from the yarn feeder 12 at the standby position, the rotating portion 16 is rotated counterclockwise by 120 degrees, and the tray 22 and the bobbin that are in the unwinding position are rotated. 11 (however, it is simplified for the convenience of drawing) is moved to the supply position. At the same time when the rotating unit 16 starts rotating, the suction pipe 40 starts the suction operation. At this time, the suction pipe 42 is in the inoperative state. During this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the tail yarn 12b of the yarn supplying body 12 which was at the supply position is sucked by the suction pipe 40 during its rotation.

In the above-described embodiment, the head yarn 12a of the yarn feeder is
And a pair of suction tubes 40 for capturing the tail thread 12b,
Although 42 is provided, one of them can be omitted to form a single suction tube. For example, the opening end of the suction tube 40 is near the rotation locus of the tail thread 12b and the head thread 1
Since it is located near the movement trajectory of 2a, the suction tube 4
2 can be omitted. In addition, the suction tube, the head thread 12
By allowing movement between a predetermined position near the movement locus of a and the predetermined position near the rotation locus of the tail thread 12b, the vicinity of the movement locus of the head thread 12a and the vicinity of the rotation locus of the tail thread 12b. Even if there is no common part to and, it is possible to capture the yarn end with only a single suction tube. That is, during the rotation operation of the yarn feeding stand, after the tail yarn 12b is captured at a predetermined position near the rotation locus of the tail yarn 12b, the suction tube is moved to a predetermined position near the movement locus of the head yarn 12a to supply the yarn. The head thread 12a can be captured while the thread 12 is being supplied. In this modified example, the amount of movement of the suction pipe is larger than that of the other embodiments in that the suction pipe is moved between two positions, but the amount of movement is smaller than in the conventional example in which the yarn end is captured. Further, since the predetermined position can be set to any position on or near the movement locus of the yarn end, the position selection range is large and the movement amount can be further reduced.

In each of the above-mentioned embodiments, the yarn supplying stand rotates the yarn supplying body around the uniaxial line, but the yarn supplying stand may be a type which linearly moves the yarn supplying body. Good. In this case, the yarn feeding stand is composed of a horizontally arranged belt conveyor, and three yarn feeding bodies can be arranged side by side at the unwinding position, the standby position and the feeding position on the upper surface of the endless belt. Further, as the capturing means, a gripping member composed of a pair of gripping bodies can be used instead of the suction tube. The acting portion of the gripping member is between the pair of gripping bodies when the gripping member is in the open state. When the gripping member is used as the catching means, the gripping member is arranged such that its action portion is located on the movement trajectory of the yarn end. In the embodiment described above, when the suction tube and the thread end are relatively separated after the suction tube pulls the thread end into the inside,
The thread end is pulled out from the inside of the suction tube. However, when the gripping member is used as the capturing means, the gripping member grips the middle of the thread end and the gripping member and the thread end are relatively separated from each other. As described above, the yarn end between the pair of grasping bodies may be weakly grasped so as to be released while being positioned therebetween.
