As shown in Figure 4, the conventional ventilation method for the reactor operating floor is to install an air supply duct 2 on the floor above the wall on the side of the dryer/separator pool 5 to supply fresh air to the operating floor. An exhaust duct 3 embedded in the walls of the dryer/separator pool 5, the reactor well 6, and the spent fuel pool 7, and an exhaust duct 2 installed on the wall above the floor on the spent fuel pool side.
The work environment on the operating floor was maintained by exhausting air from the pool.In addition, the above-mentioned embedded duct 3 in the pool wall was installed for the purpose of collecting radioactive materials scattered from the pool. be.

However, it has recently become clear that the collection capacity of conventional buried ducts (capturing radioactive materials scattered from pools) is not necessarily sufficient. As shown by the lines, a method can be considered in which an exhaust duct 1 is provided on the ceiling roof truss 10 and an air supply duct (not shown) is provided near the wall of the building. These creations have been filed separately by the applicant.

However, if the air supply duct is installed near the wall of the building, there is a risk of blocking the exhaust air when large temporary objects are placed on the floor.
There is also a risk that 7 or its hanging objects may collide with the air supply duct.

The present invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and
Air supply and exhaust that can be efficiently supplied from a point near the upper part of the indoor space on the reactor operating floor, and that does not interfere with the overhead crane or prevent ventilation from being obstructed by temporary objects on the floor. The present invention aims to provide a duct device. By improving ventilation, it can be naturally expected that radioactive materials will not accumulate in the working environment and the risk of radiation exposure to workers will be reduced.
