[Technical Field] The present invention relates to an anti-mold agent, and more particularly to an anti-mold agent that is harmless to the human body and is capable of suppressing the growth of mold and bacteria and suppressing the generation of bad odors. [Prior Art] For example, after sweating, urea contained in sweat, dead cells, etc. remain on underwear, socks, etc., or on the skin.
A portion of it is easily decomposed within a few minutes by the action of bacteria that exist in the natural world, such as in the air, and encourages the growth of new bacteria, mold, etc. As a result, they emit bad odors such as ammonia odor, causing discomfort to those around them, and may also cause skin damage, such as athlete's foot, ringworm, diaper rash, and other inflammations. For example, tributyltin oxide-based chemicals have been known as anti-mildew agents to inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria, and were put into practical use for deodorizing socks and underwear until the 1950s. However, since this chemical is an organic compound containing heavy metals, its use is prohibited because it is permeable and harmful if it comes into direct contact with the human body. After that, salicylic acid-based chemicals were used, and they were even harmless to the human body.
Moreover, although several proposals have been made regarding anti-mildew agents that can suppress the growth of bacteria, no fully satisfactory anti-mold agent has yet been found. [Problems to be Solved and Means for Solving] In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the inventors of the present invention particularly aimed to suppress the growth of bacteria caused by substances produced by perspiration, thereby preventing the occurrence of bad odors and reducing skin inflammation. As a result of various studies in order to obtain an anti-fungal agent that is harmless to the human body and can prevent
The present invention was completed based on the discovery that the object of the present invention can be achieved by using a mixture of a specific component and an acid as an active ingredient. [Summary of the Invention] That is, the gist of the present invention resides in an anti-mildew agent containing a mixture of Yatsuka sap and an acid as an active ingredient. [Structure of the Invention] The antifungal agent of the present invention contains Yatsuka sap and acid, and the Yatsuka sap is usually 5 to 20 times or 100 to 50,000 times more concentrated depending on the purpose of use. It is used diluted. The present invention is characterized by the discovery that Yatsuka sap itself has a growth inhibiting effect and a buffering effect on mold and bacteria. However, when this concentration is too low for mold and bacteria, No suppressive effect,
Even if the concentration is too high, there is no significant change in the effect. On the other hand, the acid is not particularly limited as long as it is harmless to the human body, such as acetic acid, propionic acid, succinic acid, citric acid, oxalic acid,
Examples include organic acids such as tartaric acid, and inorganic acids such as boric acid, among which acetic acid is particularly preferred. Although these acids are generally known to have a certain degree of bactericidal effect, in the case of the present invention, a more significant bactericidal effect is exhibited by the combination with Yatsuka sap. The concentration of acid is usually around 3 to 10%, and if this concentration is too low, not only will it not have a sufficient bactericidal effect, but it will also not have a synergistic effect with Yatsuka sap; on the other hand, if it is too high, is unfavorable to the human body. Further, the ratio of acid to Yatsuka sap can be selected depending on the purpose of use. The anti-mildew agent of the present invention can usually be constructed using an aqueous medium as a base material, but as a base material, for example, an alcoholic medium, a creamy medium, an aqueous gel-like medium, etc. etc. can be applied. In addition, various other additives and active ingredients other than those of the present invention may be used in combination. [Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the anti-mold agent of the present invention, the growth of mold and bacteria caused by urea and the like produced by sweating and dead cells can be sufficiently suppressed. Therefore, not only can the bad odor caused by these substances be suppressed, but also skin inflammation and the like can be prevented. Moreover, since the anti-mildew agent of the present invention is harmless to the human body,
For example, it can be applied directly to the skin or impregnated into underwear or socks.
Its application fields are very wide. [Experimental Examples] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail using experimental examples, but the present invention is not limited to the description of the following experimental examples unless it exceeds the gist thereof. Example In order to investigate the growth inhibitory effect on bacteria, the inhibition zone of bacteria that decompose proteins, carbohydrates, fats, etc. was measured on an agar medium. 1 Experimental medium: Using a potato agar medium with Saccharose added,
The above-mentioned bacteria were mixed with this medium, and 15 ml was dispensed into each 9 cm diameter shear dish, and the solidified medium was used as an experimental medium. 2 Test paper A round filter paper (Toyo Roshi No. 131) with a diameter of 5.5 mm was soaked in Yatsuka sap, acetic acid, and a mixture of both for 10 minutes, then placed on a dry filter paper, and the excess test liquid was removed. . 3 Experimental method Place test papers treated with the same test solution on the experimental medium at intervals of approximately 3 cm, cover and incubate at 30°C for 12 hours, then measure the diameter of the inhibition circle. Then, take the average of each sample,
Comparisons were made with those of each test solution. The same method was repeated twice and the results are shown in Table 1. Although the size of the inhibition circle differs depending on the type of bacteria, since mixed bacteria were used, the diameter of the smallest inhibition circle (bacterium most resistant to the reagent) was measured for each shear test.
