くとも背床4は回転昇降可能に構成し、前記寝台
1の頭側柵5に作動体6を昇降駆動機構Bにより
昇降可能に構成すると共に、該作動体6に支持腕
7を突設し、この支持腕7の先端を前記背床4の
頭部側下側に回動自在に固定し、前記昇降駆動機
構Bは、頭側柵5の縦方向に回転自在に支持した
ねじシヤフト8と、該ねじシヤフト8の下側に連
結したモータ9と、作動体6に設けた雌ねじ10

を対向させたコ字状の構成とし、床支持台車3の
両側に設けた車輪15をこの床支持フレーム2内
に移動自在に装置する等、適宜に構成し得る。第
2図は、昇降駆動機構Bとして、ねじシヤフト機
構を利用した頭部柵5の実施例を表わしたもの
で、この頭部柵5は周知の取付部材16を用いて
床支持フレーム2に着脱自在に取り付ける構成と
している。尚、符号17は、前記支持腕7を通過
自在なスリツト18を設けた蓋体、19は他の床

び背上げ状態のいずれの状態に於いてもキヤビネ
ツト等を容易に使用することができ、またベツド
用照明灯を用いている場合には、読書等をいずれ
の場合にも良好に行うことができるという効果が
ある。また本発明は、背床を回動支点と、支持腕
の先端の両者により支持するので、この背床の補
強を従来よりも簡素化することができると共に、
ねじシヤフトとモータと雌ねじとから構成する昇
降駆動機構は頭部柵に設けているので床支持フレ
ームの下方空間の有効利用を図れるという効果が
