Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily separate and recover paint sludge by a method wherein a washing solution used in the collection of paint mist is received in the falling process after the rising process due to the sucking action of an exhaust fan to be introduced into a separation tank to form paint sludge which is, in turn, led out to a filter device to separate the washing solution. CONSTITUTION:A washing water tank 2 is provided to the lower part of the spray painting region 1 of an object to be painted and a washing chamber 5 is formed on the rear side of a partition wall 3. Exhaust gas A containing paint mist is sucked in the washing chamber 5 along with washing water W in the vicinity of the gap 6 provided to the lower edge of the partition wall 3 at a high speed from the painting region 1 through the gap in a state atomized by the action of a curved plate 7. By this constitution, the paint mist in the sucked exhaust gas A is collected by the washing water W. Next, the washing water W containing the paint mist is received by an inclined plate 10 in the falling process after rising to be allowed to flow down to a separation tank 11 to form paint sludge S. The floated paint sludge S is led out to a reflux tank through an overflow weir 13 and separated from the washing water W by a filter device containing a conveyor 16.

However, the work of scraping the paint sludge S with a shovel or the like and taking it out from the cleaning liquid tank 2 is a work requiring a great deal of labor and time. This recovery work has become more difficult because a large amount of coating material has been used in which the sludge S becomes a large mass with high viscosity over time.

By the way, in a large-scale painting facility, as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5, the paint mist-containing exhaust A discharged from the spray coating work area 1 is passed through the throttle passage 41 at a high speed in a state where the exhaust mist A containing the paint mist and the falling cleaning liquid W from the cleaning liquid falling pan 40 are joined together.
Cleaning unit 4 for trapping the paint mist in the exhaust gas A into the cleaning liquid W
2 is provided below the spray painting work area 1, and the cleaning unit 4
The paint mist trapping cleaning liquid W discharged from 2 through the pipe 43 is supplied to the lower part of the levitation separation tank 44 together with the air bubbles, the paint sludge S is formed in the levitation separation tank 44 to be levitation separated, and the levitation paint Floating separation tank 4 for sludge S

However, in this case, the installation floor of the flotation / separation tank 44 is made considerably lower than the installation floor of the cleaning section 42 so that the flotation / separation tank 44 is higher than the cleaning liquid discharge height of the cleaning section 42.
If the overflow height of the coating material can be lowered, the overflow of the floating paint sludge S in the floating separation tank 44 can be easily performed. A circulation pump 47 is used to return the cleaning liquid to the upper pan 40.
Is inevitable, and if the installation height between the cleaning unit 42 and the flotation separation tank 44 cannot be sufficiently high, the flotation separation tank 44 is sealed and the space inside the flotation separation tank 44 is closed. A vacuum pump 48 (in other words, equivalent to a pump for pumping) that raises the liquid level to the overflow height by depressurizing is required. Therefore, the above-mentioned paint sludge used in such large-scale coating equipment is required. If the separate collection method was simply applied to the above-mentioned simple coating booth,
The original feature and advantage of the simple coating booth, that is, the cleaning liquid circulation pump is not required, is lost.

In view of the above situation, an object of the present invention is to adopt a rational configuration in the above-mentioned simple coating booth so that paint sludge can be easily separated and recovered from the circulating cleaning liquid without the need for a pump. There is a point to.
