However, in conventional radar devices, radio wave interference from other electronic devices is a major impediment to the radar device's target detection performance, and the interference removal function (for example, pulse integration) by the signal processor 5 cannot provide sufficient improvement. The drawback was that I couldn't do it.

In FIG. 2, the detection antenna 8 is an antenna with a lower gain than the radar antenna 1 so that it receives only incoming interference waves whose level is higher than the reflected signal from the target. The arriving interference wave is divided into a vertical component V by a polarization splitter 9.
The interfering wave is decomposed into horizontal components H and guided to the polarization analyzer 10, where the polarization characteristics of the interference wave are analyzed. That is,
Analysis of polarization characteristics is performed using a detection antenna 8 and a polarization splitter 9.
and the polarization analyzer 10, the vertical component V (or horizontal component H) is
This can be done by comparing the amplitude and phase of the horizontal component H (or vertical component V) using as a reference. According to this analysis result, the polarization synthesis circuit 7 determines whether the arriving interference wave is vertically polarized, horizontally polarized, right-handed circularly polarized, or left-handed circularly polarized, respectively.
The radar antenna 11 radiates a radar transmission signal having a polarization orthogonal to the polarization of the arriving interference wave by switching to left-handed circular polarization or right-handed circular polarization.

The radar transmission signal generated by the transmitter 3 is guided to the power divider 14a through the transmit/receive switch 2, the switch 11e, and the switch 12, and is divided into two. One of the two divided radar transmission signals is directly guided to the vertical polarization terminal V of the polarization splitter 6, and the other is input to the difference terminal Δ of the hybrid 15b, and the mutual phase relationship is reversed and the switch 1 is input.
1b and switch 11c, it is guided to right-handed circularly polarized wave terminal R and left-handed circularly polarized wave terminal L of polarization splitter 6. As shown in FIG. 4, the radar transmission signals E V , E R , and E L guided to each terminal of the polarization splitter 6 are transmitted through the polarization splitter 6 without causing power loss. The combined signals become a radar transmission signal E having only a vertical component and are radiated from the radar antenna 1 shown in FIG. In the case of horizontal polarization, the radar transmission signal is guided to the H, R, and L terminals of the polarization splitter 6, and is radiated from the radar antenna 1 shown in FIG. 2 as a radar transmission signal having only a horizontal component. On the other hand, in the case of circularly polarized waves, similarly, in the case of right-handed circularly polarized waves (or left-handed circularly polarized waves), radar is transmitted to the R, V, H terminals (or L, V, H terminals) of the polarization splitter 6. The signal is guided, and the radar transmission signal having only the 45° (or -45°) component is combined with the 1/4 wavelength plate 16 and becomes right-handed circularly polarized (or left-handed circularly polarized) by the 1/4 wavelength plate 16. It is radiated from the radar antenna 1 shown in FIG.

In the above explanation, a set of detection atontenas 8, polarization splitters 9, and polarization analyzers 10 are used in correspondence with one radar device main body, but this is not limited to these, and it can also be used in locations that are geographically close to each other. A set of detection antenna 8, polarization splitter 9, and polarization analyzer 10 can also be used in common for a plurality of installed radar device bodies.
