[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic, and more particularly to an anti-dandruff hair cosmetic containing a condensed tannin and a bactericide. [Prior Art] Generally, dandruff consists of secretions from sebaceous glands, secretions from sweat glands, peelings from the epidermal layer, etc., and is usually caused by increased secretion of sebaceous glands, etc., but when the skin is infected with bacteria or yeast, dandruff The occurrence of this disease is said to be promoted pathologically. For this reason, hair cosmetics containing antibacterial agents have traditionally been used to prevent dandruff. For example, antibacterial agents such as zinc pyrithione and triclosan have been used as anti-dandruff agents, but their anti-dandruff effects have not yet been satisfactory. Furthermore, some of these antibacterial agents have stability problems, and it is considered preferable to avoid using large amounts as much as possible. When used alone, for example, zinc pyrithione is 0.3% by weight or more, hinokitiol, which is also an anti-dandruff fungicide, is 0.3% by weight or more, and triclosan is 0.3% by weight or more.
It is said that an anti-dandruff effect is observed in amounts of 0.1% by weight or more, but hair cosmetics that contain large amounts of these substances have stability problems, and further problems arise in the stability of dispersed or dissolved systems. As this often occurs, it is best to avoid large quantities of these substances as much as possible. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present inventors have conducted extensive research to obtain a substance that has excellent anti-dandruff effects and is satisfactory in terms of stability and stability. Combining these known antibacterial agents with condensed tannins, which are also known, is extremely useful for preventing dandruff, and furthermore, it is possible to significantly reduce the concentration of the above-mentioned anti-dandruff fungicides. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that safety and stability could also be improved. [Means for Solving the Problems] That is, the present invention is a hair cosmetic containing a condensed tannin and one or more selected from the group consisting of bactericides. Next, the configuration of the present invention will be explained in detail. The condensed tannins used in the present invention are epicatechin, epigallocatechin, epicatechin gallate, and epigallocatechin gallate, and extracts from tea, Asenyaku, etc. may also be used. These condensed tannins are, for example,
It can be obtained using the method exemplified in JP-A-219384. It is well known that this condensed tannin can be used in hair cosmetics, for example,
An example is given in Publication No. 32628. For the tea extract, add 100 g of green tea to 1000 ml of boiling water and dissolve it, then wash with the same amount of chloroform to remove caffeine and pigments to obtain 1100 ml of the extract.
This is treated with the same amount of ethyl acetate to transfer the extracted components, and then the ethyl acetate layer is concentrated under reduced pressure and freeze-dried to obtain a solid content of 28.9 g. The tannin concentration in this solid content is 72%. In the hair cosmetic of the present invention, it is preferable to incorporate condensed tannins in an amount of 0.0001% by weight and 0.2% by weight as a solid content. On the other hand, examples of fungicides used in combination with condensed tannins include zinc pyrithione, triclosan,
Examples include salicylic acid, sodium benzoate, hinokitiol, photosensitizer, halocarban, chlorhexidine gluconate, benzalkonium chloride, trichlorocarbanilide, and the like. One or more of these are appropriately selected and blended. The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains the above substances.
It is preferable to add 0.0001% to 5% by weight. In the present invention, 0.0001% by weight, preferably 0.005% by weight of condensed tannin, which itself exhibits an anti-dandruff effect at a high concentration, that is, 1% by weight or more, is used.
When used in combination with the above-mentioned known antibacterial agents, even in small amounts such as 0.0001% by weight, preferably 0.003% by weight, the anti-dandruff effect can be exerted. In addition to the above-mentioned essential ingredients, the hair cosmetic of the present invention includes common ingredients that are generally included in hair cosmetics, such as oil, ultraviolet absorbers, surfactants, preservatives,
Moisturizers, fragrances, water, alcohol, thickeners, coloring agents, and the like can be added as appropriate. The hair cosmetics of the present invention broadly refer to those used for the scalp or hair, such as hair tonics,
Includes hair liquid (liquid hair conditioner), scalp emulsion, hair cream, hair shampoo, hair rinse, hair spray, etc. [Effect] When the hair cosmetic of the present invention is used, the metabolic reaction within the scalp tissue is moderately adjusted, and the occurrence of dandruff can be effectively prevented. It has become possible to significantly reduce the concentrations of sodium chloride, hinokitiol, photosensitizer, halocarban, chlorhexidine gluconate, benzalkonium chloride, trichlorocarbanilide, etc., improving safety and
A product that is satisfactory in terms of stability can be obtained. [Example] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail by giving Examples and Experimental Examples. The present invention is not limited thereby. The blending amount is in weight%. Experimental Example (Measurement method for anti-dandruff effect) 0.005% by weight of epicatechin and 0.05% by weight of the above-mentioned antibacterial agent were blended into a shampoo, and the strength of the anti-dandruff effect was compared with that of a single-containing shampoo. Purified water 79.945g, lauryl sulfate triethanolamine 15g, coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide 5g, the above antibacterial agent 0.05g, epicatechin 0.005g
Appropriate amounts of pigments and fragrances were sequentially added, heated, and then cooled to obtain a hair shampoo. The subjects were 63 men between the ages of 22 and 50 who had a relatively large amount of dandruff, and the test was conducted with three men assigned to each sample. Before the start of the test, the hair was washed with a shampoo containing no epicatechin or fungicides, and after washing the hair, the accumulated dandruff for two days was collected, and the amount of protein in the collected dandruff was measured (control period). Then, a shampoo containing epicatechin and/or a fungicide was used for one month, during which time dandruff was collected and the amount of protein was measured in the same manner as in the control period. Compare the average dandruff protein amount in the control period with the average dandruff protein amount in the sample period, and if the reduction rate of dandruff is 50% or more...A If it is 40% or more but less than 50%...B 20% If it is less than 40%, it is ranked as C. If it is less than 20%, it is ranked as D. The results are shown in Table 1. From the above results, it was found that when a condensed tannin, which does not exhibit a dandruff-suppressing effect when used alone, is used in combination with an antibacterial agent, an excellent dandruff-suppressing effect is shown, quite surprisingly.
