Generally, wireless telephone devices such as cordless telephones are
For example, as shown in FIG. 2, it is comprised of a parent device 2 connected to a wired telephone line 1 and a wireless telephone 4 connected to this parent device 2 via a wireless line 3.
The parent device 2 guides the received volume signal that arrives via the wired telephone line 1 via the hybrid circuit 21 and the amplifier circuit 22 to the transmitter (Tx) 23, modulates it here, and sends it from the antenna 24 via the wireless line 3. At the same time, the transmitted voice signal arriving from the radio telephone 4 via the radio line 3 is received and demodulated by the receiver (Rx) 26 via the antenna 25, and this demodulated signal is amplified by the amplifier circuit 27. Thereafter, it is sent to the wired telephone line 1 via the hybrid circuit 28. On the other hand, the radio telephone 4 receives and demodulates a received voice signal that has arrived via the parent device 2 or the radio line 3 via an antenna 11 and a receiver (Rx) 12, amplifies this demodulated signal in an amplifier circuit 13, and then returns the signal to the receiver. 14 to generate audio, and the transmitted audio signal inputted by the transmitter 15 is amplified by the amplifier circuit 16 and then sent to the transmitter (Rx).
17 and sends it to the parent device 2 from the antenna 18 via the wireless line 3.

However, in general, the main cause of changes in reception volume is the transmission loss of wired telephone line 1 (varies in the range of 6 to 32 dB), and low reception volume means that the signal level of the received audio signal decreases and the S/N ratio decreases. It is in a deteriorating condition. Therefore, when the reception volume is adjusted using the volume 19 of the radio telephone 4 as in the conventional reception volume adjustment method, the level of noise mixed in on the radio line 3 increases at the same rate as the signal, so that the signal cannot be emitted from the receiver 14. Although the volume of the received audio was increased, it remained difficult to hear, and the intelligibility did not improve at all.

The present invention makes it possible to raise the volume and simultaneously improve the S/N of the received audio signal when the received volume decreases, thereby providing a reception radio telephone device that can emit clear received audio with sufficient volume. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a radio telephone with reception volume adjustment information generating means, uses this means to send reception volume adjustment information to a master device, and provides a signal level control means in the master device. The signal level control means adjusts the signal level of the received audio signal arriving via the wired telephone line in accordance with reception volume adjustment information sent from the wireless telephone, and this reception volume adjustment information requests an increase in reception volume. In some cases, the level of the received audio signal from the wired telephone line is controlled to increase.

With this configuration, when the reception volume of the radio telephone 40 is low and difficult to hear, if the subscriber operates the volume 41 to increase the reception volume,
The output voltage, that is, the regulation voltage, is transmitted to the encoding circuit 42.
After being encoded, the signal is modulated by the transmitter 43 and sent from the antenna to the parent device 20 via the wireless line 3. This transmission signal (adjustment information) is received by the receiver 28 of the parent device 20, and then decoded by the decoding circuit 29 and sent to the attenuator circuit 3.
0 as a gain control signal. For this reason,
The amount of attenuation of the attenuator circuit 30 is reduced in accordance with the adjustment information, so that the signal level of the received audio signal arriving via the wired telephone line 1 is increased,
This enhanced received voice signal is modulated by the transmitter 30 and sent from the antenna 24 to the radio telephone 40 via the radio line 3. Therefore, the radio telephone 40 receives a signal with a high S/N in which only the signal level of the received audio signal is increased.

As described above, in this embodiment, the received audio volume adjustment information is sent from the wireless telephone 40 to the master device 20 via the wireless line 3, and the attenuation amount of the attenuator circuit 30 is controlled according to this information to adjust the received audio signal. By increasing the signal level, the drop in the level of the received audio signal can be compensated for, and the received audio signal with a sufficiently high signal level and improved S/N can be sent to the radio telephone 40. , This makes it possible to generate a sufficiently loud and clear receiving sound.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. For example, as the adjustment information input means, a rotary switch, a keyboard, etc. may be used in addition to the volume control. In addition to controlling the signal level of the received audio signal using an attenuator circuit, the transmitting amplifier circuit is a variable amplifier, and the gain of this amplifier is controlled according to adjustment information from the wireless telephone. The signal level of the signal may also be controlled. Furthermore, in the embodiment described above, adjustment information is input using an adjustment information input means such as a volume control device. The adjustment information may be generated automatically and sent to the parent device. In this way, it is possible to automatically correct a decrease in the reception volume. In addition, the means for transmitting adjustment information, the means for controlling the signal level of the received audio signal, etc. can be modified in various ways without departing from the gist of the present invention.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, the wireless telephone is provided with reception volume adjustment information generating means, and this means sends reception volume adjustment information to the parent device, and the parent device is provided with signal level control means, and this means sends the reception volume adjustment information to the parent device. The signal level control means adjusts the signal level of the received audio signal arriving via the wired telephone line in accordance with reception volume adjustment information sent from the wireless telephone, and this reception volume adjustment information requests an increase in reception volume. By controlling the level of the received audio signal to increase the level of the received audio signal from the wired telephone line, if the received volume decreases, the S/N of the received audio signal can be increased at the same time as increasing the volume. Therefore, it is possible to provide a reception volume adjustment method for a radio telephone device that can emit a clear reception voice with sufficient volume.
