[Formula] (wherein R represents a lower alkyl group, M represents an ammonium salt, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal) is applied to closed agricultural and horticultural facilities. This relates to environmental improvement methods. In recent years, agriculture and horticulture using facilities has shown rapid growth, but the cultivation environment tends to be hot and humid, and it is easy to repeat crops, making it prone to pests, mites, and diseases that can harm crops.
Additionally, the crops themselves are vulnerable due to the cultivation environment and are susceptible to damage. Due to these circumstances, it is often extremely difficult to control these pests once they appear in facilities, and the damage caused by them increases year by year, becoming one of the factors that impede continuous cropping within facilities. Various chemicals such as fungicides and insecticides are applied to the crops being cultivated in a timely manner, but on the other hand, the glass, vinyl, etc. inside the facilities provide an environment in which mites, pests, and fungi can easily grow. Furthermore, the high humidity and high temperature in the post-harvest facility also makes it easier for pests, mites, fungi, etc. to occur and breed. In addition, the conditions are such that weeds and diseases are likely to grow in the soil.
In addition, necessary measures must be taken to ensure that the next crop is planted in such an environment. Therefore, the present inventors conducted research to establish a method for efficiently and reliably controlling harmful organisms in such facilities and for improving the environment of facilities safely, and as a result, the general formula

[Formula] (However, R represents a lower alkyl group, M represents an ammonium salt, an alkali metal, or an alkaline earth metal.) By applying the compound represented by the formula to closed agricultural and horticultural facilities, We have completed a method to improve the environment. The closed agricultural and horticultural facilities referred to here include house-type facilities such as glass greenhouses, plastic greenhouses, and plastic greenhouses used for cultivating crops, tunnel-type facilities such as vinyl tunnels and plastic tunnels, and related facilities. equipment used for In addition, supports, nets, chains, strings, wires, etc. used in cultivation,
This includes curtains, seedling boxes, gravel, soil, bedding, and various types of pipes. Ammonium salt represented by the general formula of the present invention,
Both alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts are water-soluble salts and can be treated as an aqueous solution and applied to any space, regardless of its size.
Can be used safely. According to the present invention, in a facility, the compound of the present invention can be dropped into a house or tunnel and sealed. In addition, the material can be dropped on the ground and placed and covered with a covering material such as vinyl, or it can be immersed in a solution diluted with water. Moreover, it can also be used as an aerosol type, and after being sprayed onto the material to be treated, it can be covered with a coating material. In addition, it is possible to kill crops that have been grown and harvested within the facility in a short period of time, and at the same time kill harmful organisms, thereby preventing the scattering of harmful organisms when moving living biological remains. It can also facilitate the treatment of live plants. Specifically, the alkali metal salts or alkaline earth metal salts that are the active ingredients of the present invention include sodium salts,
Potassium salts, lithium salts, magnesium salts, calcium salts, sodium-potassium salts, or mixed salts thereof are suitable. The ammonium salt, alkali metal salt, or alkaline earth metal salt that is the active ingredient of the present invention is stored in the form of a concentrated aqueous solution. sell. It is also possible to contain spreading agents, emulsifiers, stabilizers, and other compounding additives. Depending on the purpose, it may be mixed with other fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc. and applied at the same time. The present invention will be described below with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these specific examples. Example 1 After harvest, potted tomatoes (variety: Fukuju) were infested with whiteflies, covered with a metal mesh cylinder to prevent escape, placed in a small greenhouse, and treated with a test chemical. For treatment, a 50% aqueous solution of each drug was dropped into the greenhouse. After the greenhouse was left sealed for one day, the insects were examined to see if they were alive or dead, and the insect mortality rate was calculated from this.

Mites and oilseed bugs (20 each) were introduced as parasitizers on potted cucumbers and green beans. The survey confirmed whether ticks and insect pests were alive or dead based on indicators, and calculated the insect mortality rate. At the same time, we also investigated fungi. Fungi were collected from the supports and leaves, and the number of colonies was investigated using a culture method, from which the viable rate was determined.
