て一旦右方向(あるいは左方向)に移動させて絶縁保護
層10の切断を開始する。次に、走行距離リミットスイ
ッチ5と制御装置9により移動方向を反転させて反対方
向に、更に回転カッタ3を直角方向に動かし深く切断し
て行く。切断部の絶縁保護層10が高温になって溶けな
いように考慮する必要がある。但し、回転カッタの切り
込み深さは、5〜10mm程度にして次第に導体12の
近くの中間スリーブ13まで近ずけることが好ましい。
