When heating processed products such as steel materials, multiple processing steps such as preheating, heating, carburizing, nitriding, and quenching are required. In order to improve the efficiency of the heat treatment process, it is desirable to connect furnaces that perform different processes and perform the heat treatment in a continuous flow, but in the past, each process was performed in separate furnaces. There are many places to be.

Quenching oil 2 is stored in the lower part of the furnace body 1.
A vertical elevating rail 3 is provided across the lower and upper parts of the. An L-shaped elevating frame 4 is attached to the elevating rail 3 via rollers 5, and the elevating frame 4 can be raised and lowered by means of an elevating cylinder 6. Further, the elevating frame 4 is provided with a fork rail 7 extending in the horizontal direction, and the fork rail 7 is provided with a fork 8 that extends and contracts in two stages. An arm 10 that is swung by a cylinder 9 for operating the fork is engaged with the fork 8, and as the arm 10 swings, the fork 8 expands and contracts.

When performing quenching treatment using the above-mentioned conveying device,
The inlet 11 of the quenching furnace is opened, the lifting frame 4 is raised by the cylinder 6, and the arm 10 is swung;
The fork 8 is passed through the inlet 11 and extended out of the furnace. A processed product 12 is placed at the position where the fork 8 extends, and after lifting the tip of the fork 8 slightly and cutting off the processed product 12, the cylinder 9 is actuated to move the fork 8 through the arm 10. The process is shortened and the processed product 12 is taken into the furnace. Next, the lifting frame 4 is lowered and the processed product 12 is immersed in the quenching oil 2 for a required period of time.

In the above-mentioned conventional conveying device, the fork 8 is supported in a cantilevered manner, so a support part is required below the place where the processed product 12 is placed, and this supporting part becomes a dead space and is The furnace becomes larger. Since the swinging arm 10 is provided in the furnace, it becomes an obstacle to gas circulation when a desired gas atmosphere is created. In addition, both ends of the shaft supporting the arm 10 pass through the furnace body 1, and although not shown, the components of the device for lifting the tip of the fork 8 pass through the furnace body 1, so there are many sealing points. It is difficult to create a vacuum state. Furthermore, since the above-mentioned conveyance device can only move the processed product 12 in and out of the furnace in one direction, when a quenching furnace is installed online, a device for loading or sending the processed product into the furnace from the opposite direction is required. Must be provided separately.

To explain the general heat treatment process in FIG. 2, the processed product 12 placed on the table 19 outside the furnace is loaded into the front chamber 15 with the insertion door 20 opened, and after the insertion door 20 is closed, Preheating or vacuum heating vaporization cleaning is performed in the chamber 15 . When the required processing is performed in the front chamber 15, the partition door 21 is opened and the heating chamber 16 is opened.
When the chambers 15 and 16 are closed by the partition door 21, the heating chamber 16 is filled with a heat treatment gas or liquid agent to create the required atmosphere for carburizing, nitriding, etc. Further, the intermediate door 22 is opened, the processed product 12 is taken in by the transfer device 18 provided in the quenching chamber 17, and the intermediate door 22 is closed. The conveying device 18 is operated to immerse the processed product 12 in the quenching oil 2 to perform the quenching process. When the quenching process is completed, the processed product 12 is pulled up,
The extraction door 23 is opened and the extract is delivered to the outside table 19 by the conveyance device 18.

Open the extraction door 23 and rotate the drive sprocket 35 further clockwise. As described above, the conveyor chain 36 is provided with a delivery dog 38 so as to be located immediately behind the product 12 when the product 12 is placed on the conveyor chain 36. As the sprocket 35 rotates clockwise, the processed product 12 moves to the right via the conveyor chain 36 , and eventually the front half of the processed product 12 comes off the conveyor chain 36 .
When the transfer ability is lost, the delivery dog 38 comes into contact with the rear end surface of the processed product 12 and sends the processed product 12 onto the out-of-furnace table 19 (FIG. 8). By reversing the sprocket 35, the conveyor chain 36 moves in the opposite direction to the aforementioned direction, and the conveyor bar 37 and the hook portion 42 engage with each other. As the conveyor chain 36 moves further, it enters the standby state as described above.
