係止孔が貫通しているため、チユーブ無しタイヤ
を装着することが難しいとされている。また、こ
のワイヤスポーク車輪は鋳造車輪に比べて緩衝性
がよいため、モトクロス用自動二輪車に使用され
るが、激しい衝撃によつてタイヤビード部の装着
面がリムの底部圧接面で滑りを発生するためタイ
ヤとリムとの間で瞬間的な隙間を発生し、その隙
間から空気漏れを発生する。このためこの点から
もワイヤスポーク車輪にチユーブ無しタイヤが使
用できない理由になつていた。

に接する部分に隆肉部を形成し、かつフランジ部
を中空構造に形成し、該フランジ部の底部に前記
ワイヤスポーク端部を係止する係止孔を設けると
共に、前記ビード部が接する内側壁面に前記係止
孔に対向するように貫通する開口を設けたことを
特徴とするものである。

て空気漏れを発生するようなことはない。したが
つて、ワイヤスポーク車輪であつてもチユーブ無
しタイヤ7の装着が可能になる。

しないようにワイヤスポークを係止することがで
き、しかも係止孔に対向するようにフランジ部内
側壁に開口を設けたため、ワイヤスポーク組み付
け時の差し込み用の孔としての利用と共に、タイ
