装置のカツタナイフ交換方法に関するものであ

従来の技術

する。本図は、先に本出願人の提案になる特願昭
58−119308号(特開昭60−9613号)明細書に示す
サイドトリミング装置を使用した走間巾変え要領

速度VXをライン速度VYに対し適宜制御する。す
なわち、サイドトリマのカツタナイフ1,1′と
ナイフ軸2,2′を軸心0のまわりに水平旋回可
能な回転駆動装置5及び水平移動装置8により走
間の巾変え及びカツタナイフ1,1′の軸線2a,
2a′が切断点において走行切断曲線15の接線に
ほぼ直角になる如く回転角度及び水平移動速度を
制御することにより円滑なトリミングを行うこと

発明が解決しようとする問題点

常、ストリツプのサイドクリツプされた位置(第

広巾材10から狭巾材11になる巾変え位置にお
いてラインを停止した後トリマ本体3を180度水
平旋回させて予備ナイフ101,101′と交換
する。従つて、刃替えのためのサイドクリツピン
グ作業が必要となり、この作業のためのライン停

記スクラツプ10aの切り取りをほぼ完了する点

実施例

リマと同一構成であり、ストリツプ10を任意の
設定切断線13に沿つてトリミング中に、任意の
切断位置a1において、例えば、カツタナイフ1,
1′の交換等の理由で、該ナイフ1,1′をストリ
ツプ10から離脱させる場合、ライン速度VYを
適宜速度で減速すると共に、該ライン速度に対応
してカツタナイフ1,1′の水平旋回方向とその
速度W及び水平移動の方向とその速度VXを適宜
制御して、例えば第1図の斜線部のような任意の
設定曲線13aに沿つて切断を続行することによ
り、スクラツプ10aをストリツプ10端部から
切り取つて、容易に離脱できる。この場合のライ
ン速度VYは、カツタナイフ1,1′が前記スクラ
ツプ10aの切り取りをほぼ完了する点の近傍
〔第1図中a2点〕においてラインが停止する如く

置において、ラインを停止するだけで極めて容易
に、かつ迅速に実施できるから、従来のターレツ
ト式サイドトリマの場合にくらべ、刃替作業によ
るライン停止時間を著しく短縮すると共に、より
