PURPOSE:To obtain an outdoor unit for a separate type air conditioner which protects unit-to-unit wirings from damage and prevents the penetration of water drops. CONSTITUTION:There is installed a wiring cover 12 which connects the terminal cover 8 with the valve cover 5 and covers a unit-to-unit wiring 6 in an outdoor unit 1 for a separation type air conditioner equipped with a valve 3, a valve 4, a valve cover 5, a terminal 7 and a terminal cover 8. The wiring cover 12 protects the wiring 6 from external force and damage. Moreover, the wiring cover 12 stuffs up a clearance between the terminal cover 8 and the wiring 6, which makes it possible to prevent the generation of operational failures attributable to the penetration of water drops.
