て、潤滑オイルを収容するオイルパンを連結している。
又、エンジンの下側には、オイルポンプを取付けてい
て、エンジンとエンジンホルダーの連結部付近の構造が
複雑になっている。例えば、特開平1−244108号

ジン3の潤滑オイルを収容している。エンジン3のクラ
ンクシャフト5は、前側に寄せて設けてあり、クランク
シャフト5に、ドライブシャフト6を連結してある。ド
ライブシャフト6は、下端に、オイルポンプ用のギヤー
ポンプ7を連結する。ギヤーポンプ7は、ストレーナー
8を介して、オイルパン4の下端に連結し、ギヤーポン
プ7の吐出口はエンジン3に連結して各部に潤滑オイル
が回るようにしてある。ギヤーポンプ7の一対のギヤー
は、一次減速ギヤーにもしてあって、ロアードライブシ
ャフト9をギヤーポンプ7に連結し、ロアードライブシ
ャフト9は、ギヤーポンプ7の軸間距離だけ後側にオフ
セットする。ロアードライブシャフト9は、ギヤーケー
ス10内に収容したベベルギヤ11を介し、プロペラシ

の発生を少くできる。又、ギヤーポンプは、オイルポン
プとしてだけでなく、一次減速とロアードライブシャフ
トのオフセットの役目も果していて、エンジンに、一次
減速ギヤを設けなくてよくなり、構造を簡単にできる。
そして、ギヤーケース内のベベルギヤーの減速比を小さ
