The present invention relates to a two-layer shaking lotion. More specifically, when it is left still, it has a beautiful appearance that is clearly separated into two layers: a transparent water layer (upper layer) and a sulfur powder layer (lower layer), and when used by shaking, the two layers are mixed together. It disperses evenly to form and maintain a uniform suspension, giving the skin a good feeling (freshness, moisture, coolness, etc.), an astringent feeling, and the prevention and treatment of acne. The present invention relates to a two-layer shaking lotion that provides good effects, can be applied smoothly and quickly, and when left to stand after use, the powder settles and clearly separates into two layers: a water layer and a powder layer. Conventional two-layer shaking lotions use soft flocculants such as sodium chloride, calcium chloride,
It contained water-soluble salts such as magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and alum. However, even in this method, caking of precipitated sulfur due to long-term storage is unavoidable, and furthermore, the appearance of the powder layer upon standing is not beautiful, and the bulkiness of the precipitated sulfur cannot be expected. In particular, when precipitated sulfur is used for the purpose of preventing or treating acne, caking is significant. In such cases, a fatal drawback was that the caked and precipitated sulfur particles gave a rough feel during application. As a result of intensive research to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art, the present inventors have found that when each component is blended according to the structure of the present invention described later, zinc paraphenolsulfonate and alkali metal carbonate react. As a result, water-insoluble colloidal basic zinc carbonate and paraphenolsulfonic acid alkali metal salt are produced in the system, and colloidal basic zinc carbonate is adsorbed (precipitated) on the surface of precipitated sulfur particles. It widens the distance between particles and prevents the agglomeration of precipitated sulfur particles, and at the same time, the bound sedimentation property of colloidal basic zinc carbonate (the property of particles binding each other and settling together due to chain aggregation) ), when left still, the water layer and powder layer (precipitated sulfur) had a beautiful appearance separated into two layers, and when used with shaking, the two layers were mixed together and the powder particles were uniformly dispersed. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that an excellent two-layer shaking lotion capable of forming a suspension can be manufactured easily on an industrial scale. The present invention has improved all the drawbacks of the prior art as described above, and its purpose is to
When left still, it has a beautiful appearance of being separated into two layers, a water layer and a powder layer, and when shaken, they are mixed together to form and maintain a homogeneous suspension in which powder particles are evenly dispersed. To provide a two-layer shaken lotion that can be applied smoothly and quickly, giving the skin a good feeling (freshness, moisture, and coolness), an astringent feeling, and effects such as preventing and treating acne. There is a particular thing. That is, the present invention uses precipitated sulfur as the main component.
0.1-5% by weight, zinc paraphenolsulfonate
0.1-3% by weight, carbonates of alkali metals 0.02-0.6
It is a two-layer shaking lotion made by blending % by weight and water. The precipitated sulfur used in the two-layer shaking lotion of the present invention has antibacterial activity listed in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia.
It has a keratin softening effect and is used externally to treat acne, seborrhea, chronic eczema, acne, etc. The amount of precipitated sulfur used (blended amount) is 0.1 to 5% based on the weight of the composition (two-layer shaking lotion).
% by weight, preferably 1-3% by weight. If it is less than 0.1% by weight, it is difficult to expect the effect, and if it is more than 5% by weight, the precipitated sulfur tends to aggregate, and when applied, it does not spread well, giving a powdery finish and making the skin feel dry. It becomes rough and rough, which is undesirable. The amount of zinc paraphenolsulfonate used in the present invention is 0.1 to 3% by weight, preferably 1 to 2% by weight, based on the weight of the composition. When the amount is less than 0.1% by weight, when it is shaken and left to stand, it will not clearly separate into two layers, a transparent water layer and a powder layer, and furthermore, precipitated sulfur will tend to cause caking. If the amount exceeds 3% by weight, the appearance of the separated and settled powder layer will deteriorate significantly. The alkali metal carbonate used in the present invention is:
It is a carbonate of an alkali metal for cosmetics that is readily soluble in water and reacts with zinc paraphenolsulfonate to produce basic zinc carbonate when incorporated into a composition, such as sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, carbonate, etc. Sodium hydrogen and potassium hydrogen carbonate are preferred. These may be used singly or in combination. The amount of alkali metal carbonate used is
The amount is 0.02 to 0.6% by weight, preferably 0.2 to 0.4% by weight, based on the weight of the composition. If it is less than 0.02% by weight, it will not separate clearly into two layers, a transparent water layer and a powder layer, when it is shaken and left to stand, and furthermore, precipitated sulfur will tend to cause caking. If the amount exceeds 0.6% by weight, the appearance of the separated and settled powder layer will deteriorate significantly. The amount of water used in the present invention is 50 to 99% by weight, preferably 70 to 98% by weight based on the weight of the composition. The essential ingredients used in the two-layer shaking lotion of the present invention are the above-mentioned precipitated sulfur, zinc paraphenolsulfonate, alkali metal carbonate, and water, but fragrances, preservatives, and humectants are optionally added. , pigments, and other well-known and commonly used ingredients may be blended. Furthermore, fungicides such as isopropylmethylphenol, resorcinol, and salicylic acid, and hormones such as estradiol and ethinyl estradiol can also be blended. In addition, common ingredients include aliphatic lower monohydric alcohols (ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, etc.) that can provide a cooling sensation, and liquid polyhydric alcohols as humectants (such as propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, glycerin, polyhydric alcohol, etc.). Glycerin, polyethylene glycol, etc.) can also be blended. The two-layer shaking lotion of the present invention has a beautiful two-layer structure with a transparent water layer (upper layer) on a lower layer of deposited powder particles with a clear interface. When used, the two layers are easily mixed and the powder particles are evenly dispersed, and this state is maintained for an appropriate period of time, giving the skin a good feeling (freshness, moisture, coolness). , astringent feeling, etc.)
can be granted. Furthermore, after use (after standing still), it always restores to the two-layer structure of a clear water layer and a powder layer within a reasonable amount of time.
You can maintain and enjoy its beautiful appearance. In addition, it is stable and does not cause caking even when stored for a long time, and does not cause any abnormality in dispersibility, feel, or effect during use. The two-layer shaking lotion of the present invention is a two-layer shaking lotion that can exhibit the unique and remarkable effects as described above, and includes, for example, a two-layer acne lotion, a two-layer astringent for acne-prone skin, and a two-layer shaking lotion. It is useful as a two-layered keratin softening lotion. Examples will be described below. The parts shown in the examples mean parts by weight. The characteristics of the two-layer shaking lotion (composition) shown in the examples (uniform miscibility during shaking, appearance after standing, repeatability, feel during use) were evaluated by expert inspector 3.
I looked it up through people. The test method is as follows. (1) Uniform miscibility during shaking The sample composition was placed in a transparent glass bottle (diameter 4 cm, height
13 cm) to a height of 10 cm and left at room temperature, then manually shaken vigorously up and down to determine the number of times of shaking required until the two layers of ingredients were evenly mixed. If the required number of shaking is 1 to 5 times, it is very good (extremely easy to use. Code is ◎), 6 to 10
If the number of times is good (easy to use, sign is ○), 11
If it is ~20 times, it is somewhat poor (somewhat difficult to use. The sign is △), and if it is more than 21 times, it is poor (difficult to use).
The sign is ×). Incidentally, the greater the number of times of shaking required, the more troublesome shaking becomes and the more difficult it is to use. (2) Appearance when left still The sample composition was placed in the same transparent glass bottle as in (1) above, manually shaken vigorously up and down to uniformly mix and disperse the components of each layer, and then left undisturbed for 1 hour. The transparency of each separated layer (for example, two layers) and their interfaces, the presence or absence of dirt, etc. were examined with the naked eye. The evaluation was good if the water layer was substantially transparent and there was no dirt on the interface, and bad if the water layer was opaque or there was dirt on the interface. (3) Reproducibility The sample composition in (1) above was stored for 6 months in a constant temperature chamber where the temperature was changed back and forth within the range of 5 to 45°C, and the uniform miscibility upon shaking of the above characteristics, The appearance when left still was examined, and the presence or absence of reproducibility over time was determined from the results and the results immediately after manufacture. In addition, when the rank of the above-mentioned characteristic did not substantially decrease, the reproducibility was determined to be good (present), and when the rank of the above-mentioned characteristic decreased, the reproducibility was determined to be poor (absent). (4) Feeling during use The tactile effect includes the feel when applied to the skin (freshness, moisture, stickiness, coolness), extensibility (spreading), finish after application, etc. (3). ) Sample compositions stored at room temperature for 6 months were investigated. Example 1 (Two-layer acne lotion) (1) Precipitated sulfur 2.0 parts Zinc paraphenolsulfonate 1.0 parts Sodium carbonate 0.2 parts Methyl paraben (preservative) 0.1 parts Purified water 96.7 parts (2) Manufacturing method One of the above ingredients The two-layered acne lotion of the present invention was prepared by adding the two ingredients to one part under stirring, dissolving and dispersing them, and then gradually adding the dissolved ingredients to the remaining part under stirring to prepare a two-layered acne lotion. The characteristics of this two-layer acne lotion were investigated as described above. First, as a result of examining the uniform miscibility during shaking, the two layers that had been separated were mixed together after the required number of shaking three times, resulting in a suspension in which the powder (precipitated sulfur) in water was uniformly dispersed. was generated. From this result, this two-layered acne lotion can be easily formed into a uniformly suspended two-layered acne lotion by shaking, and can be maintained stably for an appropriate period of time.
It was found to be extremely easy to use (◎). Furthermore, after one hour of standing, it exhibited a beautiful appearance with two layers clearly separated, a colorless and transparent water layer and a pale yellow powder layer. In addition, after storing this two-layer acne lotion for 6 months as described above, we investigated the repeatability and found that the uniform miscibility when shaken after 6 months (required number of shaking is 5 times) was immediately after production. After standing still, the water layer/powder layer interface of the restored two-layer structure was clear, and the water layer was clear and transparent, exhibiting the same beautiful appearance as immediately after production. This two-layer acne lotion does not feel sticky when used and has a good feel.
The finish after application was also good. Comparative Example 1 A comparative two-layer acne lotion was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1, except that zinc paraphenolsulfonate was not used and 97.7 parts of water was used. As a result, the two-layered acne lotion obtained did not clearly separate into two layers, and even when shaken, they did not mix uniformly even after 23 or more shakings, and there was no precipitated sulfur. Some of it was caking, and some of it was floating on the water surface. As a result of practical tests, it was found to be rough when applied and had a poor feel, making it impractical. Comparative Example 2 The same procedure as in Example 1 was carried out except that sodium carbonate was not used and 96.9 parts of water was used. As a result, the obtained two-layer acne lotion clearly separated into two layers, but the compatibility during shaking required 17 shakes (rather poor), and some of the precipitated sulfur was not caking. Some of them were floating on the surface of the water. As a result of a practical test, it was found that there was some glare during application and the feel was poor. Example 2 A two-layered acne lotion was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1, except that 5 parts of ethyl alcohol and 3 parts of glycerin were further added and 88.7 parts of water was used.
When this lotion was allowed to stand still, it had a beautiful appearance that was clearly separated into two layers: a colorless and transparent water layer and a pale yellow powder layer. After separation into two layers, the mixture was shaken three times, and the two layers were mixed together and uniformly dispersed. In addition, as a result of investigating the repeatability of the 6-month storage solution, the uniform miscibility during shaking (required number of shaking 4 times) was extremely good, and was the same as that immediately after production.
The water layer and the water layer/powder layer interface have a clear, clear, and beautiful appearance. This acne lotion is
It had both a refreshing and moist feeling and gave a good feeling. From these results, it was found that this acne lotion was also extremely easy to use and provided a better feel compared to the good one of Example 1. Example 3 (Two-layer type astringent lotion for acne-prone skin) A two-layer type astringent lotion for acne-prone skin was prepared according to the formulation based on Table 1. Table 2 shows the properties of the resulting two-layer type astringent lotion for acne-prone skin.
As is clear from these results, the amount of zinc paraphenolsulfonate is 0.1 to 3% by weight (preferably 1 to 2% by weight), and the amount of alkali metal carbonate is 0.02 to 0.6% by weight (preferably 1 to 2% by weight). is 0.2~
