This invention relates to a mixed insecticidal composition (hereinafter referred to as the composition of the present invention) characterized by containing the following. It is described in JP-A-58-150559 that the compound ( ) [physical constant: n 22.5 D 1.5478] has a controlling effect on mosquito larvae, house fly larvae, etc. However, compound () has extremely low effectiveness in controlling adult insects. On the other hand, compound () [physical constant: n 21.5 D 1.5899]
It is described in JP-A-58-198430 that it is useful as an insecticide and acaricide. As a result of intensive studies aimed at simultaneous control of larvae and adults, the present inventors found that by treating pest larvae with a mixture obtained by mixing pest control agents and insecticides with different activities, We have also discovered an insecticidal mixture composition that acts on adult insects and can consequently reduce the density of reproductively capable adults. The composition of the present invention can be applied to Hemiptera such as planthoppers, leafhoppers, whiteflies, aphids, stink bugs, and scale insects, Isoptera such as termites, Hymenoptera such as ants and sawflies, mealybugs, and mealybugs. It is effective against pests such as Lepidoptera such as Spodoptera, Diptera such as Culex mosquito and house fly, Reciptera such as the German cockroach, Coleoptera such as tobacco beetles and bean weevils, and Orthoptera. When the composition of the present invention is used as an insecticide, it is usually mixed with solid carriers, liquid carriers, surfactants, and other formulation auxiliaries to form emulsions, wettable powders, oils, etc.
Saw into lumber etc. Each preparation can contain 0.01 to 99% by weight of Compound () and Compound () as active ingredients, and the mixing ratio of Compound () to Compound () is 1:20 to 20. :1 is appropriate. These formulations can be prepared according to conventional methods. In this case, solid carriers include fine powders such as clays (e.g. kaolin, bentonite, acid clay, pyrophyllite, sericite), talcs, and other inorganic minerals (e.g. hydrated silicon dioxide, pumice, diatomaceous earth, sulfur powder, activated carbon). Or powdered products can be given. Liquid carriers include alcohols (e.g. methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol), ketones (e.g. acetone, methyl ethyl ketone), ethers (e.g. ethyl ether, dioxane,
cellosolve, tetrahydrofuran), aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g. benzene, toluene, xylene, methylnaphthalene), aliphatic hydrocarbons (e.g. gasoline, kerosene, kerosene), esters,
Nitriles, acid amides (eg methylformamide, dimethyl acetamide), halogenated hydrocarbons (eg dichloroethane, trichloroethylene, carbon tetrachloride), and the like. Examples of surfactants include alkyl sulfates, alkyl sulfonates, alkylaryl sulfonates, polyethylene glycol ethers, and polyhydric alcohol esters. In addition, fixing agents and dispersants that can be used include:
Casein, gelatin, starch powder, CMC, gum arabic, alginic acid, lignin sulfonate, bennite, molasses, polyvinyl alcohol,
Examples of stabilizers include pine oil and agar.
Examples include PAP (isopropyl phosphate), TCP (tricresyl phosphate), tall oil, epoxidized oil, various surfactants, and various fatty acids or their esters. Next, some formulation examples and test examples are shown.
Of course, the present invention is not limited to these. Formulation example 1 10 parts of compound (), 10 parts of compound (), 20 parts of emulsifier (polyoxyethylene styrenated phenyl ether, polyoxyethylene styrenated phenyl ether polymer, mixture of alkylaryl sulfonate) and 60 parts of xylene and stir well to obtain an emulsion. Formulation example 2 5 parts of compound () and 10 parts of compound () were thoroughly mixed with 5 parts of emulsifier (sodium lauryl sulfate),
Add 80 parts of 800 mesh diatomaceous earth and stir and mix thoroughly in a pickler to obtain a wettable powder. Formulation Example 8 Dissolve 1 part of Compound () and 1 part of Compound () in 20 parts of acetone, add 98 parts of 300 Metsuyu Turk, stir and mix thoroughly in a shaker, and then evaporate the acetone to obtain a powder. . Formulation Example 4 Add white kerosene to 0.1 part of Compound () and 0.5 part of Compound () and dissolve, making the total 100 parts to obtain an oil solution. Test Example 1 Fifty male and female adult house flies were placed in a cage.
Separately, 14 g of wheat bran, 2 g of powdered feed, and 28 ml of water were thoroughly mixed, and 100 4-day-old house fly larvae were released into the thus prepared artificial medium for house flies. 20% emulsion of compound () [20 parts of compound (), 20 parts of emulsifier (polyoxyethylene styrenated phenyl ether, a mixture of a polymer of polyoxyethylene styrenated phenyl ether and an alkylaryl sulfonate) and 60 parts of xylene Add
These were thoroughly stirred and mixed. ] was diluted with water to a predetermined concentration. Similarly, a 20% emulsion of compound () was prepared and diluted with water to a predetermined concentration. On the other hand, a mixture was prepared by mixing each compound solution diluted with water to a predetermined concentration. 20 ml of this mixture and each single agent were sprayed into cages containing adult house flies and containers containing house fly larvae, respectively. After spraying, the container containing house fly larvae was placed in an adult cage treated with the same chemical, and the number of adults in the cage was then adjusted. The result was calculated as a corrected density index using the following formula. Table 1 shows the results.
Shown below. Corrected density index = Number of adults before treatment in untreated area × Number of adults after treatment in treated area / Number of adults after treatment in untreated area × Number of adults before treatment in treated area × 100 [Table]
