[Industrial Application Fields] Pen nibs, narrow rods inserted into the small tube nibs of small tube writing instruments, ballpoint pen tips, ballpoint pen balls, ballpoint pen ball seat members, etc., which are involved in ink discharge, and are also used on writing surfaces. The present invention relates to an ink guide member made of synthetic resin that is subject to direct abrasion from, for example, or indirect abrasion from, for example, balls. [Prior Art] Among ink guiding members made of synthetic resins, those made of polyacetal are relatively superior in abrasion resistance and clogging resistance (resistance to insufficient ink discharge due to the so-called "fluttering" phenomenon). The majority of products on the market today are made of polyamide or polyamide. However, it is difficult to say that it has sufficient wear resistance and clogging resistance, so the applicant filed an application for improvement (Japanese Patent Application No. 59-253248). . The claims are as follows. "An ink guiding member characterized by being made of a synthetic resin or a derivative thereof having the following molecular structural characteristics. (a) It has an aromatic ring in the straight chain part. (b) The aromatic ring in (b) has an ether bond. (c) There are two ether bonds in (b) in the repeating sequence. (d) It has a ketone group.'' Examples are those made of polyetherimide and polyether ether ketone. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the invention according to the above application, an ink guide member made of polyacetal or polyamide can have extremely superior wear resistance and clogging resistance. However, the present invention was made in an attempt to further improve the clogging resistance without deteriorating the wear resistance. The present invention deals with an ink guide member made of polyetheretherketone. [Means for solving the problem] Increase the crystallinity to 27% or more. That is, the present invention
The gist of the present invention is an ink guiding member made of polyetheretherketone, characterized in that the degree of crystallinity thereof is 27% or more. There are various methods known to increase the degree of crystallinity.
It is also known that mechanical properties such as strength generally improve as the degree of crystallinity increases; There is a big difference in clogging properties. This is around 27%. Here, the value of crystallinity was determined by the X-ray method. In the present invention, polyether ether ketone includes its derivatives and those in which a filler such as inorganic fine powder is used during molding. [Example] VICTREX PEEK450G (polyetheretherketone manufactured by Imperial Chemical Industries) is extruded from an extruder and taken up by a roller to form a circle with a diameter of 0.55 mm with a gap for an ink passage passing through it in the axial direction. A columnar object was obtained. Here, the discharge hole diameter of the die with an ink passage pattern attached to the tip of the extruder is 15 mm, the temperature set inside the extruder is 360°C near the die, the air outside the die is 70°C, and the take-up speed is 20 m/min. It's a minute. The molten material extruded from the die has a maximum diameter of approximately 17 mm due to the ballast effect.
The melt began to lose its luster approximately 10 cm from the die. The diameter at this time is approximately 1.0 mm. The cylindrical object thus obtained is referred to as Example 1, and Example 1
For a cylindrical object of
The heat-treated ones are named Examples 2 to 7 in order,
Similarly, in an air atmosphere at 300℃ for 5 minutes without tension,
Examples 8 to 14 are those heat-treated for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, and 50 minutes, respectively. Also,
When obtaining a cylindrical object as described above, the take-up speed was changed to 27 m/min, the extrusion rate was also changed accordingly, and a cylindrical object with a diameter of 0.55 mm was obtained as Example 15. Examples 16 to 20 were obtained by heat-treating the columnar articles in an air atmosphere at 200° C. for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes while fixing the length.
Furthermore, Example 21 uses a commercially available polyacetal nib (diameter 0.55 mm). [Effect of the invention] The crystallinity of each example was measured by the X-ray method (excluding Example 21), and each example was made into a pen nib by cutting the core so that one end was hemispherical. The amount of wear after moving an object vertically for 200 meters on a writing surface under a load of 100g, and also the amount of wear after assembling a writing instrument sufficiently filled with water-based black ink used in commercially available writing instruments, and at a speed of 7cm/sec under a load of 100g. Table 1 and Figure 1 (Example 21 excluded) show the results of an investigation of the writing distance required to cause blurred handwriting when written vertically.

[Table] Here, the writing distance was not due to a lack of ink, as it was possible to write again without blurring the handwriting by replacing only the pen tip, but it was due to the clogging phenomenon at the tip of the pen tip confirmed by microscopic observation. It can be determined that this is due to the occurrence of the problem, and as described above, according to the present invention, the clogging resistance can be improved.
