The third example shows this type of conventional mounting structure.
Fig. 4 and Fig. 4. First, Fig. 3 shows the following:
Mount the mounting foot 22 so that it is approximately perpendicular to one short side of the lens 21, for example, the lens surface 21a on the front side of the vehicle body.
Therefore, a receiving groove 2 provided on the side of the housing 23 into which the mounting foot 22 is fitted is provided.
4 is also provided in the same direction. On the other hand, in the case of FIG. 4, for example, as shown by parting line PL2 in the figure, the lens 31
The mating surface of the mold is set at the most ideal position, such as the lowest engraving depth when forming.
The mounting foot 32 is provided so as to be perpendicular to this mating surface, and the receiving groove 34 of the housing 33 is also oriented in the same direction. It is installed at an angle from both sides.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional mounting structure, as shown in FIG. 3, on the side of the vehicle body, which is the other short side, the mounting foot is oriented parallel to the vehicle body, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 22 and the receiving groove 24 are formed to protrude, and for example, the fender 11 is relatively deeply drawn for mounting on a vehicle body.
This causes interference with the fender 11, causing the problem of having to machine an escape hole 12 in the interference part of the fender 11, and the mating surface of the mold is complicated, as shown by parting line PL1 in Fig. 3. There also arises the problem that the structure of the mold for forming the lens 21 becomes complicated. On the other hand, although the mold shown in FIG. 4 has the advantage of simplifying the structure of the mold without creating the complicated mating surfaces described above, as shown in FIG. It is necessary to form blinding dummy parts 31a and 31b on the short side, and for example, in a lamp such as a headlamp where the lens 31 is required to have high transparency, this structure cannot be seen through. However, this problem has arisen in that the quality of the lamp as a whole is seriously impaired, and both structures have caused dissatisfaction, and it has been a challenge to solve this problem.

The present invention is a specific means for solving the above-mentioned conventional problems, and includes a skirt-shaped mounting foot provided on a lens whose lens surface is shaped to wrap around the side of the vehicle body, and a skirt-like mounting foot that fits into the mounting foot. In the lens mounting structure for a vehicle lamp, which includes a receiving groove provided on the outer edge of the housing, the mounting foot provided on the short side of the lens on the side surface of the vehicle body is formed substantially perpendicular to the lens surface, so that the shaft portion and the vehicle body The mounting foot provided on the short side of the lens on the front or rear side of the vehicle body is formed on an arc with the tip of the shaft portion as the center of rotation to form a rotating part, and the short side of the lens on the front or rear side of the vehicle body is By providing a lens mounting structure for a vehicle lamp, wherein the inner wall of the receiving groove corresponding to the mounting foot provided on the side side is inclined so as not to impede rotation of the lens. The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems by making mold formation easy and eliminating the need for a dummy part.

Next, the present invention will be explained in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. What is indicated by the reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1 is a lens, and this lens 1 is similar to the conventional example in that it has a shape that wraps around from the front side of the vehicle body, for example, but according to the present invention, the lens 1 Attachment legs 2 provided in a skirt shape almost along the outer periphery of the
The short side 1a of the lens 1 on the side of the vehicle body is formed to be approximately perpendicular to the lens surface, that is, the side surface of the vehicle body, and is formed as an axis 2a, and the short side 1b of the lens on the front side of the vehicle body is formed as an axis 2a. Tip 2 of part 2a
The rotating portion 2b is formed so as to be positioned in an arc shape with the center of rotation at c. In contrast, the receiving groove 4 of the housing 3 has a short side 1a of the lens 1 on the side of the vehicle body, that is, a side surface 4a into which the shaft portion 2a is fitted, corresponding to the shaft portion 2a of the mounting foot 2, and the short side 1a of the lens 1 on the side surface of the vehicle body. The front part 4b, which is provided perpendicular to the side surface and is on the short side 1b of the lens on the front side of the vehicle body, fits the shaft part 2a and the side surface part 4a, and makes the tip 2c of the shaft part 2a the center of rotation. When the lens 1 is rotated as
The inner wall 4c is sloped to such an extent that it does not come into contact with the inner wall 4c. When assembling the lens 1 and the housing 3 configured in this way, first, a hot-melt adhesive 5, for example, called hot melt, is injected in a molten state over the entire surface of the receiving groove 4, and then First, insert the shaft portion 2a into the side surface portion 4a of the lens 1 on the lens short side 1a side, which is the side surface of the vehicle body, until it hits the end.
If the floating rotating portion 2b is then pressed, the lens 1 will rotate around the tip 2c of the shaft portion 2a, and will be fitted into a predetermined position on the front portion 4b. If we consider the above-mentioned structure in detail below, especially the rotating part 2b, we will find that the amount of rotation of this type of lens 1 to the side of the vehicle body is usually (body front part y) > (vehicle body side part x ), and the ratio is about 3:1 to 5:1. If the ratio is set to 4:1 as shown in FIG. 2, the separation angle α of the rotating portion 2b from the vertical line X will be tanα=0.25, that is, approximately 14°. At this time, if the length D of the rotating portion 2b is 10 mm, the tip thereof will protrude outward from the short side 1b of the lens by (10 mm x 0.25), that is, approximately 2.5 mm. It is possible to make the amount of protrusion such that the dummy parts 31a and 31b of the conventional example shown in the figure are not required. Furthermore, as is clear from FIG. 1, with the above structure, no particularly structurally complicated parts are created, and mold formation is easy. As explained above, in this type of lens 1, normally (vehicle body front part y)>(vehicle body side part x), but if (vehicle body front part y)<(vehicle body side part x)
Needless to say, if the lens 1 is such that the shaft portion may be formed on the front side of the vehicle body.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the mounting foot provided on the short side of the lens on the side of the vehicle body is formed approximately perpendicular to the lens surface and serves as a shaft, and the mounting foot is provided on the short side of the lens on the front side of the vehicle body or on the rear side of the vehicle body. The mounting foot formed on a circular arc with the tip of the shaft portion as the center of rotation is used as a rotating portion, and the mounting foot corresponding to the mounting foot provided on the short side of the lens on the front side of the vehicle body or the rear side of the vehicle body. The inner wall of the receiving groove is sloped so as not to impede the rotation of the lens, making it easy to form a mold without complicating the structure of the lens, and also making it possible to remove the dummy from this lens. This has the excellent effect of improving the quality of this type of lamp by eliminating parts.
