(Conventional technology) The main part of the rear floor is formed by the rear seat pan. Its front end is welded to the front floor pan, and a step is formed behind the joining position, and a rear cross member is welded to and near the step to ensure strength.

For example, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the rear cross member 4 is welded across the back surface of the vertical wall 2 at the front end of the rear seat pan 1 and the upward wall 3 extending rearward from the upper end of the vertical wall 2, and A rear floor is known that has a structure in which a long closed cross section is formed in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in FIG. 5. In this case, in order to prevent the seat seat cushion (not shown) from shifting in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, a rear seat bracket 5 is provided to protrude above the upward wall 3 of the rear seat pan 1, and the lower part of the rear seat cushion is mounted on this bracket. It is engaged.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, as shown in FIG. 4, the rear seat bracket 5 is only used for positioning the rear seat cushion, and has little effect on reinforcing the rigidity of the rear floor itself. Furthermore, there is a problem in that the welding of the part a in FIG. 5 cannot be performed at the same stage as the other spot welding parts, which makes the welding work time-consuming.

(Means for Solving the Problem) In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a rear seat whose front end of the vehicle body is uniformly bent downward along the width direction of the vehicle to form a vertical wall. A pan, a front flange joined to the back surface of the vertical wall, and a rear flange joined to the back surface of the upward wall extending toward the rear of the vehicle body from the upper end of the vertical wall are formed, respectively, and together with the vertical wall and the upward wall. A lower cross member that functions to form a lower closed cross section that is long in the vehicle width direction, and a front flange and a rear flange that are joined to the above-mentioned upward wall and cooperate with the above-mentioned upward wall to form a lower closed cross section that is long in the vehicle width direction. The front flange of the upper cross member and the rear flange of the lower cross member are integrally joined via the rear seat pan.

(Embodiment) The rear floor of FIG. 1 is used in the rear lower part of the cabin of a sedan-type passenger car (not shown) (the front-rear direction is indicated by arrow B). This rear floor is formed of a rear seat pan 11 whose front end is welded to the front floor pan 10, and an upper cross member 13 and a lower cross member 12 welded to the upper and lower surfaces of the front side of the vehicle body of the rear seat pan 11, respectively. An upward wall 17 is located on the rear side of the vehicle body from the upper end of the vertical wall 16.
is formed to extend, and in particular, an upper cross member 13 is provided to protrude rearward by a required width L1 from the front end. The upper cross member 13 has a substantially hat-shaped cut surface in the longitudinal direction B of the vehicle body, and has front flanges 1 at the front and rear thereof.
31, a rear flange 132 is formed, and side flanges 133 at both ends in the vehicle width direction C are located slightly inside of both ends of the rear seat pan 11 and are welded to the upward wall 17, respectively.

In this case, in particular, the rear flange 121 of the lower cross member 12 is formed directly below the upper cross member 13 which is behind the vertical wall 16 by L1, that is, at a position where the upper and lower parts overlap with each other with the rear seat pan 11 in between. . Therefore, this part can be spot welded in three layers.

Prior to such a rear floor welding process, the upper cross member 13 and the lower cross member 12 are first temporarily fixed to the rear seat pan 11, respectively.
In the subsequent welding process, direct welding is performed using welding guns (not shown) facing both sides of the rear seat pan 11. That is, the rear flange 132 portion of the upper cross member, the overlapping portion of the front flange 131 of the upper cross member and the rear flange 121 of the lower cross member, and the front flange 122 portion of the lower cross member are welded at the same stage.

The rear floor shown in FIG. 1 can cooperate with the upper cross member 13 and the lower cross member 12 to form long closed sections D1 and D2 in the vehicle width direction C, thereby ensuring sufficient rigidity at the front of the rear floor. It can be strengthened. Moreover, the action of the upper cross member 13 reliably prevents the rear seat cushion 19 from shifting forward, and the rear seat pan 11 is secured to the proper position of the rear seat cushion 19 by bolts (not shown).
