【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 端部同士が隣接した複数の巻取用芯管の
双方の端部内に共通の短管を挿入することによって相互
が連結された状態にある巻取用芯管にウエブを巻きつけ
た後、巻取用芯管と同等の長さにウエブを切断して複数
の巻取ロールを製造するウエブ巻取装置の後工程におい
て、切断されたままで相互に未分離の複数の巻取ロール
を載置してそのロール軸方向に運搬可能な第1のコンベ
アと、同第1のコンベアに直列にかつ独立した第2のコ
ンベアを設け、第1のコンベアに上記未分離の巻取ロー
ルを載置して運転し、先頭の巻取ロールが第2のコンベ
アに載置されたとき、第1のコンベアを停止し、第2の
コンベアを運転して先頭の巻取ロールを次の巻取ロール
から所要間隙分離し、同間隙内に露出した短管を取外し
た後、再び上記操作を繰返して次々と短管を取外すこと
を特徴とするウエブ巻取ロールの短管取外し方法。
