Abstract

PURPOSE:To speedily cope with a fault repair, and to reduce a cost required for a service by confirming the fault situation of a housing equipment provided at each household through a telephone line, in a fault supervisory center. CONSTITUTION:When the fault of the heater of the heated toilet seat of a shower-stool 1 occurs, a fault detection transmitter 3 detects the fault, and outputs the coded signal of the locating fault from an antenna 2 in the configuration of a radio wave. The locating fault coded signal is received by an antenna 5 of a repeater system 4, converted into a line signal which can be transmitted through a telephone line TW by the line transmission circuit of the repeater system 4, and transmitted through the telephone line TW to the fault supervisory center altogether with a user code and an equipment code. Thus, a service staff can confirm the fault situation in the fault supervisory center.

According to the signal transmission device having the above structure, when a failure occurs in the housing equipment monitored by the failure monitoring center, the failure detection means detects the failure of the housing equipment and codes the failure mode. The encoded coded signal is output. The encoded signal is transmitted by an encoded signal transmission means, for example, a power line,
Alternatively, when the signal is transmitted to the line relay means by a wireless transmission method using radio waves or light as a transmission medium, the line relay means converts the encoded signal into a line signal that can be transmitted by a telephone line, and then converts the line signal. It is transmitted to a predetermined failure monitoring center via a telephone line. Since the failure monitoring center can recognize the failure of the housing equipment based on the coded signal transmitted through the telephone line, the service staff goes to the site with the parts for repairing the failure, and The failure can be repaired.

As shown in FIG. 1, in this embodiment, a system for monitoring a failure of a shower toilet 1 which is one of the housing equipment will be described. Shower
Failure detection / transmission device 3 that detects a failure in each part of the toilet 1, for example, a failure in which a heater of a heating toilet seat is cut off, and outputs a signal obtained by coding the failure location as a radio wave from an antenna 2
Is attached near the shower room 1. On the other hand, the fault location coded signal of the shower toilet 1 output from the antenna 2 of the fault detection transmission apparatus 3 in the form of radio waves is received by the antenna 5 attached to the relay apparatus 4, and the fault location code is received. The converted signal is converted into a line signal that can be transmitted through the telephone line TW in the line transmission circuit built in the relay device 4.

The relay device 4 operates by obtaining 100 volt power from the power plug 6. Further, a telephone plug (not shown) is attached to the relay device 4, and when the telephone plug is attached to the telephone line outlet 7, the relay device 4 is connected to the telephone line TW. Incidentally, a telephone outlet (not shown) is attached to the relay device 4,
The plug 9 of the telephone 8 is attached. Therefore, the relay device 4 puts a signal obtained by coding the fault location of the shower toilet 1 and other housing equipment on the telephone line TW, while automatically using the telephone line TW when the telephone 8 is used. It incorporates a switching circuit for switching to the telephone 8 side.
