Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic disc device having a means removing an attachment such as dust adhering on the rail surface of a magnetic head slider, and functioning as said means in combination and using a load/unload system. Accordingly, the attachments such as dust adhering on the rail surface of the magnetic head slider can be taken off, and the so-callded head crush such as the instability of the floating of the slider, a contact and sliding with the magnetic disc, breakage, etc., can be prevented, thus improving the lowering of the floating of the slider and magnetic recording density.

ち磁気ヘッドスライダ1を滑らかにクリーニング面3に
上げ下ろしする。クリーニング面3は前述の場合と同様
にレール面の付着物9をレール面から除去する機能を有
するものである。
