Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a metallic protective member covering a nut impossible to be moved away without destroy by constituting the metallic protective member with two parts having particular configuration and securing a screw bolt with the nut at functional position. CONSTITUTION: A protective member 8 is made of metal and is divided into two parts. One part 37 has a hole through which screw bolt 10 penetrates, and is secured in the protective member 8 by nut 15. The other part 36 is formed in cup-shape and covers the screw hole 10 and nut 15. The engagement parts 35, 39 formed in two parts 37, 36 are movable until they reach the engagement position. The engagement part 39 of the part 37 is elastic, and can be closed by the other part 36 while it engages with the engagement part 35 of the other part 36. By this constitution, the fastener has a very simple structure and can respond to all the demand.
