2. Description of the Related Art Hemodialysis treatment of renal failure patients aims at removing blood waste and excess water by bringing blood into contact with a dialysate through a semipermeable membrane in a dialyzer. In this dialysis treatment, the hemodialysis device is a device for supplying the dialysate to the dialyzer and draining the dialysate waste liquid safely and surely. Therefore, the dialysis machine has various functions for ensuring safety. One of its functions is the detection of blood, and when the blood detector leaks blood to the dialysis drainage side due to the rupture of the semipermeable membrane due to a malfunction of the dialyzer or hemolysis, an alarm is generated and The device is shutting down.

An example of the structure of a conventional blood detector is shown in FIG. Side plates 2a and 2b are arranged on both sides of the container 1, the light source 3 is attached to the side plate 2a, the light receiving element 4 is attached to the side plate 2b, and the light source 3 and the light receiving element 4 are installed to face each other. A liquid supply port 10 and a liquid discharge port 11 are provided in the upper portion of the container 1, and the dialysis waste liquid is put into the container through the liquid supply port 10 so that the optical path from the light source 3 to the light receiving element 4 is filled with the dialysis waste liquid. ing. There are glass plates 5 between the side plates 2a and 2b and the container 1, respectively, and the dialysis drainage liquid inside the container 1 and the light source 3 and the light receiving element 4 are separated. When blood is mixed in the dialysis waste liquid, the light from the light source 3 is blocked by the blood, the amount of light incident on the light receiving element 4 is reduced, and it is detected that the blood is mixed in the dialysis waste liquid.

The conventional blood detector having the above-mentioned structure has the following problems. That is, in dialysis treatment, waste products and the like from blood flow into the dialysis drainage side, and the liquid itself is contaminated, and the drainage flow path is easily contaminated. The blood detector is also in the middle of the drainage path, and it is unavoidable that the inside gets dirty. Especially the light source 3 and the light receiving element 4
When the glass plate 5 on the optical path between the two becomes dirty, the amount of light incident on the light receiving element 4 decreases, and it becomes impossible to distinguish between the dirt and the mixing of blood, which causes a malfunction. Therefore, the glass plate 5 needs to be frequently washed, but in the conventional structure, the drain screw 8 drains the liquid in the container, the set screw 7 is loosened, and the glass plate 5 is removed to perform the complicated operation. Was needed.

The dialysis waste liquid is injected into the chamber through the liquid supply port provided at the opening of the chamber and is discharged through the liquid discharge port above the chamber opening. The light source and the light receiving element are arranged so as to face the side surface of the chamber and detect blood that has entered the chamber. At the time of cleaning, the chamber can be removed together with the waste liquid remaining inside, and it is not necessary to discharge the internal residual liquid in advance.

The chamber holder 1a is made of a cylindrical material, and has a liquid supply port 10 and a liquid discharge port 11 provided on the upper portion thereof, and holes for mounting the light source 3 and the light receiving element 4 on the side surface of the cylinder.
Alternatively, the screws are processed so as to face each other, and the lower part is screwed on the cylindrical surface so as to be screwed with the bottom plate 9. The liquid supply port 10 and the liquid discharge port 11 do not need to be provided on the upper surface of the chamber holder 1a, and may be provided on the upper side surface, for example. Although a light emitting diode is used for the light source 3 and a photodiode is used for the light receiving element 4, any light emitting diode can be used as long as it can detect a change in the amount of light.

The chamber 5a is made of a translucent material, for example, transparent glass, and has a cup shape. An O-ring 6 is provided on the liquid supply port 10 and the liquid discharge port 11 side of the chamber holder 1a with the opening facing upward. It is tightly fixed via the via and serves as a retention part for the dialysis waste liquid. The chamber 5 a is fixed between the light source 3 and the light receiving element 4. Chamber 5a
The shape is not limited to a cylindrical shape and may be a rectangular shape, but the cylindrical shape is adopted in this embodiment because the manufacturing cost is low.

The bottom plate 9 is processed with a screw to be screwed with the screw portion of the lower portion of the chamber holder 1a, and the chamber 5a is brought into close contact with the chamber holder 1a by screwing with the screw portion of the chamber holder 1a. It may be possible to improve the stability of the chamber 5a by processing a recess for receiving the chamber 5a inside the bottom plate 9, or it is effective to knurl the outside so that the chamber 5a can be easily rotated by hand.

In the blood detector having the above structure, the dialysis waste liquid is injected into the chamber 5a through the liquid supply port 10 and discharged through the liquid discharge port 11. When blood leaks into the dialysis waste liquid, blood enters the chamber 5a together with the dialysis waste liquid, and the amount of light received by the light receiving element decreases, thereby detecting the blood leak. At the time of cleaning, the bottom plate 9 is loosened to remove the chamber 5a.
The chamber 5a can be taken out without removing the dialysis waste liquid remaining inside by removing the chamber. Therefore, since the blood detector can be easily washed, it can be washed frequently, and malfunction does not occur.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the chamber is held by the bottom plate 9 and is detachable, but the chamber may be directly attached to the chamber holder. For example, if a groove or the like is provided in the upper portion of the chamber and an attachment piece that fits into the groove is provided in the chamber holder, the chamber can be directly attached to the chamber holder.

According to the conventional blood detector, when the glass surface needs to be cleaned, the procedure for draining the liquid in the container is required. It was done at the same time and could be easily disassembled. When dialysis is performed in a hospital, the glass surface of the blood detector is frequently washed, and the present invention reduces the procedure and simplifies maintenance.
