<Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to an inkjet recording medium, and more specifically, the present invention relates to an inkjet recording medium, and more specifically, it uses cloth as a support, so that it has a texture unique to cloth, and also has good recording characteristics and excellent durability. An object of the present invention is to provide an inkjet recording medium having the following. <Conventional technology> The inkjet recording method has traditionally been used in various printers, and its use has expanded in recent years with the advancement of color printing, making it easy to make color copies, especially in design-related, event-related, and advertising-related fields. It has become popular because of the benefits it provides. Due to the nature of the work in these fields, there is a strong demand for recording media with excellent weather resistance, as recording may be performed on materials with unique forms other than paper, such as fabric or leather, and may be used outdoors. It is being However, conventional inkjet recording media
Since the support is paper-like material or plastic film, there are restrictions in handling such as the problem of crease marks when folded, and there are also limitations in handling large-area recording materials such as drawings and posters. Conventional recording media used as recording media have problems such as poor durability, especially poor water resistance. However, the inkjet recording media currently being considered using cloth or leather as a support do not allow uniform recording layer formation on the support, and therefore no one with good recording properties has been developed. It's a situation. <Problems to be Solved by the Invention> In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention provides an inkjet recording medium that uses cloth as a support, has a texture unique to cloth, and has good recording characteristics and excellent durability. I have something to offer. <Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention provides an inkjet recording material having a recording layer provided on at least one side of a support, in which the thickness of the weaving threads of the support is 200 μm or less, and the weaving gap is 200 μm. This is an inkjet recording material characterized by using the following fabric. The fabric that is the support used in the present invention has a specific form, and only by using this specific form can an inkjet recording material having the feel of a fabric with good recording properties be obtained. is obtained. In other words, the fabric serving as a support has a thread thickness of 200 μm or less,
In addition, it is necessary that the weaving gap be 200 μm or less, and a fabric with a high weaving density and a narrow gap between the woven threads constituting the fabric is used. The term "weaving yarn" as used herein refers to a so-called thread made of fibers, which is a unit used when weaving and forming a fabric. The thickness of the weaving yarn in the present invention is determined by determining the thickness of the weaving yarn in a micrograph of the surface of the fabric taken with a stereoscopic microscope at a magnification of 40 times. In addition, when two or more types of weaving yarns with different thicknesses are used, this is calculated by averaging them. Further, the weaving gap was determined by measuring the gap between the weaving threads in an area of 7 cm x 9 cm in a photomicrograph taken with a stereoscopic microscope at a magnification of 80 times, and averaging the gaps. In addition, if there is a difference in the weaving gap in the vertical direction or the horizontal direction due to the weaving method of the fabric, it is determined by averaging it. The support in the present invention has a specific form as described above, that is, the thickness of the weaving thread is 200 μm or less,
As long as the fabric has a weaving gap of 200 μm or less, the material is not particularly limited; for example, cotton,
Sheet materials made of various fibers such as rayon, acetate, polyester, polyacrylic, and polyamide are used. Here, the thickness of the weaving thread may be 200 μm or less as mentioned above, but it is 50 μm or less in consideration of strength and durability as a support, texture as a cloth, etc.
200 μm is particularly preferred. Further, the weaving gap may be 200 μm or less as described above, but is preferably 150 μm or less in order to obtain particularly high-definition images. Thickness of weaving thread is less than 200μm, weaving gap is 200μm
Fabrics that are unsatisfied with either of the values below m or less have a rough weave, that is, the threads are too thick, or the gaps between the threads are too large, and the fabric is not dense enough, so this is recorded by inkjet recording. When used on the body, a problem arises in that high-definition image quality cannot be obtained and recording characteristics are not satisfied. This is because if the weaving threads are too thick, the unevenness on the surface of the fabric will become large, and if the gaps between the weaving threads are too wide, it will be difficult to form a recording layer during manufacturing. It is something. The recording layer in the present invention is a conventionally known recording layer composed of a hydrophilic polymer, a pigment, etc.
It is not particularly limited. For example, hydrophilic molecules include polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, water-soluble polyamide, gelatin, etc.
Examples of the pigment include inorganic pigments such as silica, aluminum hydroxide, alumina, clay, talc, diatomaceous earth, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and zeolite, and organic pigments such as cellulose powder, polyethylene powder, and polypropylene powder. In addition, various resins such as polyester, (meth)acrylic, styrene, urethane, rubber, and epoxy are used as binders, and melamine formaldehyde resin and urea are used to make the recording layer water resistant and prevent ink from bleeding. Waterproofing agents such as formaldehyde resin, glyoxal, and ammonium zirconium carbonate can be added as necessary. Furthermore, it is also effective to use various additives such as dispersants, fluorescent dyes, PH adjusters, antifoaming agents, lubricants, and preservatives in order to further improve the productivity, recording characteristics, storage stability, etc. of recording media. It is. The inkjet recording medium of the present invention has the above-described recording layer provided on at least one side of the above-mentioned support. To form a recording layer, use a suitable solvent (water, methanol, ethanol, toluene, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone,
A coating prepared by dissolving or dispersing the above materials in ethyl acetate, etc.) is applied using an air knife coater, roll coater, wire bar coater, spray coater,
It can be applied and dried using a fountain coater, reverse roll coater, etc.
The thickness of the recording layer is 10-40μm, preferably 20-30μm
It is m. If the thickness of the recording layer is less than 10 μm, it will not be able to function as a recording layer, that is, it will not have sufficient ink absorption and retention properties, while if it is more than 40 μm, the unique texture of the fabric of the recording medium itself will be affected. It will be damaged. In the inkjet recording medium of the present invention, a barrier layer may be provided between the support and the recording layer, if necessary. The barrier layer is made of, for example, styrene-butadiene copolymer, (meth)acrylic acid-
Various emulsion-based resins such as (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer, styrene-acrylic copolymer, vinyl acetate-acrylic copolymer, vinyl chloride, and vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer are suitable; Various known resins can be used without being limited to. Inorganic pigments, organic pigments, and various additives used in the recording layer can also be used as necessary. <Examples> Next, the present invention will be explained in detail by examples.
It should be noted that all parts indicating formulations represent parts by weight. Example 1 A polyether fabric (thickness of the weaving thread) was used as a support.
An inkjet recording material of the present invention was prepared by coating and drying a recording layer having the following composition using a coating material having a thickness of 172 μm, a weaving gap of 50 μm, and a thickness of about 106 μm (coating rate: 10 g/m 2 ). Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K-90, manufactured by General Aniline & Film Co., Ltd., 10% aqueous solution) 10 parts Polyvinyl alcohol (N-300, manufactured by Nippon Gosei Kagaku Co., Ltd., 10% aqueous solution) 10 parts Silica (Fine Seal X-37, Tokuyama Sodasha Co., Ltd.) 4-part polyamide water resistant agent (manufactured by Polyfix Fix)
-601, manufactured by Showa Kobunshi Co., Ltd.) 1.1 parts Example 2 In Example 1, before forming the recording layer, styrene-butadiene copolymer emulsion (JSR0697, manufactured by Japan Synthetic Rubber Co., Ltd., solid content 48%) was used as a coating for the barrier layer. Example 1 except that a barrier layer with a coating weight of 8 g/m 2 was formed by coating and drying on the support using
An inkjet recording medium of the present invention was produced in exactly the same manner as described above. Examples 3 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 Inkjet recording bodies of the present invention or for comparison were prepared in exactly the same manner as in Example 1, except that the fabric shown in Table 1 was used as the support in Example 1.

[Table] Comparative Example 4 A comparative inkjet recording medium was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that high-quality paper (Bright Form 52.3 g/m 2 , manufactured by Daio Paper Co., Ltd.) was used as the support in Example 1. did. Images were formed using the inkjet recording bodies of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 using an inkjet recording machine (using NEC PC-PR801), and the results showed that the inkjet recording bodies of the present invention were all good. A high-definition image was obtained. On the other hand, the inkjet recording bodies of Comparative Examples 1 to 3 had poor image density and reproducibility, and high definition images could not be obtained. Further, although the inkjet recording medium of Comparative Example 4 produced a high-definition image, since the support was paper, it was of course impossible to obtain a cloth-like texture. While the body was in good condition with no creases remaining when folded, creases easily appeared. Furthermore, regarding the durability when exposed to running water, the inkjet recording bodies of Examples 1 to 4 had no problems even after being exposed for several minutes, whereas the inkjet recording body of Comparative Example 4 absorbed water and absorbed water in just a few minutes. Part of the recording layer fell off due to swelling. From the above results, it was confirmed that the inkjet recording medium of the present invention has good recording characteristics and excellent durability. <Effects of the Invention> Since the inkjet recording medium of the present invention uses a fabric having a specific shape as a support, it has good recording characteristics, bending resistance, and water resistance while maintaining the unique texture of the fabric. It has excellent durability.
