法が示されている。<Prior Art> Conventionally, various sheet-like absorbent materials have been known in which a deodorizing agent such as activated carbon or a moisture absorbent such as calcium chloride is used as an absorbent material, and these are formed into a sheet shape. There are known methods in which the absorbent is kneaded into a paint and applied to a base sheet, and one in which an absorbent is attached to the base sheet via an adhesive. For example, JP-A-54-10290 discloses a substrate sheet in which a granular oxygen scavenger is adhered in a layer on one or both sides of a base sheet. Also,
Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-46325 discloses that a hygroscopic agent and a water-soluble polymer dissolved in water are coated on a base sheet such as paper or cloth and then dried to form a hygroscopic layer on the surface. A method of manufacturing the formed sheet-like absorbent is shown.

In order to achieve this effect, a large amount of absorbent had to be used. Furthermore, although the above-mentioned problem does not occur in the case where the absorbent is adhered via an adhesive or the like, since the absorbent is exposed, there is a concern that the absorbent may fall off and contaminate the surrounding area. In order to prevent this, it is conceivable to provide a layer of nonwoven fabric or the like as an absorbent layer, but this is economically disadvantageous. Furthermore, depending on the type of absorbent, phenomena such as stickiness or discoloration may occur due to moisture absorption or other factors, so if the absorbent material is evenly distributed over the entire sheet-like absorbent material, it may cause contamination of the surrounding area. Undesirable.

The purpose is to provide a sheet-like absorbent material that solves these problems.A powder or granular absorbent is mixed into a raw material that forms a foam having open cells, such as urethane or polyethylene, and the mixture is made into a sheet. This is a method for producing a sheet-like absorbent material, which is characterized in that the raw material is foamed after being spread in a shape so that the absorbent is densely distributed on one side due to the difference in specific gravity.

When the foam raw material is foamed in this state, open cells are formed. This provides a very large surface area within the sheet, substantially exposing the absorbent and allowing the absorbent to be effective.

This mixture forms polyurethane foam by isocyanate reaction. In addition, known raw materials capable of forming the foam 1 having open cells, such as raw materials for foamed polyethylene, can be used.

One becomes a dense layer of agent 2 and the other becomes a sparse layer. After reaching this state, a sheet-like absorbent material as shown in FIG. 1 is created by foaming the raw material.

In the obtained sheet-like absorbent material, the absorbent does not fall off from the sheet. In addition, even if there is stickiness or discoloration due to moisture absorption of the absorbent, the absorbent is very sparse on one side of the sheet-like absorbent, so the above-mentioned disadvantages will not directly appear on that side, so it is hygienic. It has high commercial value.
