Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent unintended still pictures from being recorded by fetching video signals into a memory while half pressing a still picture recording switch, projecting those signals at a view finder and recording them in a tape by fully pressing the switch. CONSTITUTION:When a still picture recording switch SWS is pressed to a half pressed position, the video signals for one frame are fetched into a memory 8 with a vertical synchronizing signal just after the pressing as a reference, the video signals (still picture signals) are repeatedly read out, and the still pictures fetched into the memory 8 are projected on a view finder 13. When the still pictures projected on the view finder 13 are desired pictures, a photographer presses the still picture recording switch SWS to the fully pressed position. Then, the still picture signals in the memory 8 are compressed by a still picture processing circuit 11 and supplied through a first changeover switch SW1 to a PCM processing circuit 12, the still picture signals made into PCM are supplied through an RF circuit 6 to a magnetic head 7, and the still pictures are recorded in the audio signal block of a tape 1.

Recording / reproduction of an audio signal which has been converted into M) and which has been time-axis compressed is performed. As shown in FIG. 5, the recording format on the tape 1 divides the track T into a video signal section Ta and an audio signal section Tb. In the moving image recording mode, a video signal continuously obtained is a video signal section Ta and an audio signal is an audio signal. The recording is performed in each of the signal sections Tb.

However, in the prior art, when the still image recording switch is pressed, a video signal for one screen is stored in the memory and the captured video signal is recorded on the tape 1. Therefore, it is not possible to know what kind of still image is recorded on the tape 1 until it is reproduced. For example, an image which is not intended by the photographer, such as an image crossed by a person, an out-of-focus image, or an image with insufficient light intensity is recorded. There is.

A video camera according to the present invention for achieving the above object is configured such that video signals obtained continuously can be recorded on a tape as a moving image signal, and the video signal is stored in a memory. In a video camera configured to record the video signal supplied and captured in the memory as a still image signal on the tape in parallel with the moving image signal, a still image recording switch is configured in a two-stage type and a moving image is formed. The image signal and the still image signal captured by the memory are selectively or simultaneously displayed on the viewfinder, and the image signal is stored in the memory when the still image recording switch is in the half-pressed position. The still image signal captured and displayed in the memory is displayed on the viewfinder, and is stored in the memory when the still image recording switch is fully pressed. A still image signal forme is provided with a control circuit for controlling to record the tape.

Therefore, when the still image recording switch is set to the half-pressed position, the video signal is taken into the memory and the taken-in video signal (still image signal) is displayed on the viewfinder. If the photographer wants the still image displayed on the viewfinder, the photographer fully pushes the still image recording switch. Then, the video signal taken in the memory is recorded on the tape as a still image signal. If the still image displayed on the viewfinder is unintentional, the still image recording switch is returned to the original position. Then, the video signal taken in the memory is not recorded on the tape.

As described above, according to the present invention, in a video camera capable of recording a moving image and a still image in parallel, the still image recording switch has a two-stage structure, and the still image recording switch is pressed halfway. The video signal captured in the memory when it is set to the position, and the video signal captured in this memory is displayed on the viewfinder, and the video signal that is captured in the memory when the still image recording switch is fully pressed. Since the image is recorded on the tape, the video signal captured in the memory can be confirmed before recording on the tape, so that it is possible to prevent a still image not intended by the photographer from being recorded on the tape.

1. A tape which is constructed so that video signals obtained continuously can be recorded on a tape as a moving image signal, the video signal is supplied to a memory, and the video signal captured in the memory is used as a still image signal on the tape. In a video camera capable of recording in parallel with the moving image signal, a still image recording switch is configured in a two-stage manner, and the moving image signal and the still image signal captured by the memory are selectively or simultaneously When the still image recording switch is in the half-pressed position, the video signal is captured in the memory, and the still image signal captured in the memory is projected in the viewfinder. broth,
A video camera provided with a control circuit for controlling the still image signal taken in the memory to be recorded on the tape when the still image recording switch is fully pressed.
