【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 DOHC式エンジンのシリンダヘッド上
部に取り付けられるシリンダヘッドカバーであって、両
側部に平行に設けられて2本のカム軸をそれぞれ覆う一
対の凸部と、これらの凸部の間でカム軸方向に延びる凹
陥部とを有し、該凹陥部における各シリンダ対応位置に
点火プラグ用コイルの挿入口がそれぞれ開口されている
と共に、各挿入口間の位置に上記一対の凸部を連結する
リブが形成され、かつ、これらのリブに、上記コイルが
カム軸方向に一列に並ぶように、その取り付け用ボスが
設けられていることを特徴とするエンジンのシリンダヘ
ッドカバー。

と共に、各挿入口間の位置に上記一対の凸部を連結する
リブが形成され、かつ、これらのリブに、上記コイルが
カム軸方向に一列に並ぶように、その取り付け用ボスが
設けられていると共に、このリブのカム軸方向と直交す
る方向への延長線上の該カバー周辺部に、シリンダヘッ
ドへの締め付け用ボルトの挿通孔が設けられていること
を特徴とするエンジンのシリンダヘッドカバー。
