ても、用いられるている成分は、細菌、黴、酵母等の微
生物の好適な栄養源となる物質が多く、加工液が腐敗し
易いという問題がある。腐敗が生じると性能の低下をき
たし、又、悪臭による作業性の低下を来す。従って、腐
敗防止のために各種の殺菌剤や防腐剤が使用されてい
る。例えば、ホルムアルデヒド供与体化合物、フェノー
ル系化合物を添加することは公知である。しかし、この
様な防腐剤や殺菌剤は、毒性が強く、防腐に必要な量を
使用すると人体への悪影響がみられることや、水溶性加
工油剤としての他の成分との相溶性が悪く、成分の分離
