TaC(タンタルカーバイト)材料が商品化され、

ルミナ系、ジルコニア系のセラミツク等の材料が

感あるサフアイヤ、ルビー等の宝飾材料またはカ
ラフルなセラミツク材をポイント的に使用し、前
記超硬合金とを組合わせて複合化した腕時計用ケ
ースが好まれる。しかしながらアルミナ系、ジル
コニア系等セラミツク部材あるいはサフアイヤ、
ルビー等宝飾材料と硬質・超硬合金とを組合わせ
てロー付けにより固着することは、特にサフアイ
ヤ、ルビー等の透明な宝飾材料では外観上不適で
あり、かつ接合面に繁雑なメタライズ工程が加わ
るためコスト高の要因となり、また接着剤により
固着することは長時間にわたる耐久性において問

コニア系等セラミツクあるいはサフアイヤ、ルビ
ー等宝飾材料で形成される。また、枠本体は金
属・合金等の加工性に優れた材料で形成し、硬質
合金部材をロー付け、またはネジ止め等により枠

時側両サイドのWC側チツプ2により挟み込まれ
る形で端面をロー付けにより固着する。この際ル
ビー丸棒3両先端部を前記WC側チツプ2の接合
端面に形成した凹部に嵌込む構造により保持し、
組立後ルビー丸棒3はWC枠本体1の12時、6時
の位置に配置されることにより、メタリツクな硬
質・超硬合金の時計外装の一部に、深紅なルビー
を加飾した新規なデザインを有する硬質腕時計ケ
