CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 1 has a body part 2 which is provided with a rectangular opening part on the top surface and a cover part 3 which covers the opening part. A cylindrical part 13 in which an air flow meter is inserted and fitted is formed in the vicinity of an outlet opening part 5 of the body part 2. Accordingly, the air cleaner 1 for an internal combussion engine has the air flow meter body therein, so that a space is narrowed, the number of components and man-hours for mounting are decreased, and price are lowered and efficiency of working is increased.
