2. Description of the Related Art In order to erect steel columns used in steel-framed or steel-framed reinforced concrete buildings on foundation concrete, first, a column pedestal is fixed to the steel column, and the steel pedestal to which the column pedestal is attached is installed. Although the technique of standing is used,
The conventional means for joining a column pedestal and a steel frame column is such that the lower end of the steel column and the upper end of the projecting portion of the column pedestal are welded together, or the lower side face of the steel column and the projecting side face of the column pedestal are simply opposed to each other. It was arranged and bolted.

Among the above-mentioned conventional techniques, the one in which the lower end of the steel frame column and the upper end of the projecting portion of the column pedestal are welded and joined may delay the construction period due to the shortage of welding workers in recent years. However, there is a risk that the quality may become unstable due to welding. Further, in the case where the lower side surface of the steel column and the side surface of the protruding portion of the column pedestal are simply arranged so as to be joined by bolts, the tightening force per bolt is comparatively small, so that between the steel column and the column pedestal. In order to secure the necessary frictional force, it is necessary to arrange a large number of bolts, which causes a problem that the length of the projecting portion of the column pedestal becomes long and the cost of the column pedestal increases. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a column pedestal which does not require welding work with a steel column and has a short protruding portion.
