Conventionally, the paint sludge separation and repair equipment described above has a structure in which the paint sludge floated and deposited in the separation tank is directly transferred from the separation tank to the collection container by adjusting the water level of the separation tank (for example, Showa 51-136726
(see publication).

However, with the above-mentioned conventional system, when a failure occurs in the water level adjustment system of the separation tank, or when trouble occurs on the handling side such as loading and unloading the collection container,
Since it became impossible to remove the floating paint slag from the separation tank, the circulation of cleaning water had to be stopped and the operation of the separation tank had to be interrupted during repair work.
Since the operation of the cleaning equipment is also stopped, for example, in a continuous painting booth, there is a problem that even the operation of the painting line has to be stopped.

In particular, when floating paint slag in a separation tank is transferred to a collection container by adjusting the water level, the size of the collection container is limited for handling purposes, so it is important to minimize the amount of water overflowing into the collection container. However, it is important to transfer the floating paint slag to a collection container as efficiently as possible, but in order to do so, it is necessary to limit the water surface area of the separation tank to a certain small area, and the capacity of the separation tank is accordingly limited. be done.

However, if the capacity of the separation tank is small, the floating capacity of the floating paint slag is small, and if a situation occurs where the floating paint slag cannot be transferred from the separation tank as described above, the operation of the separation tank must be stopped immediately. This made the above-mentioned problem even more pronounced.

In addition, in order to be able to continue operating the cleaning equipment even if a situation arises in which floating paint slag cannot be removed from the separation tank, multiple separation tanks are installed in parallel in the cleaning water circulation system. Even if a situation arises in which floating paint slag cannot be transferred from one separation tank, the other separation tanks are operated to continue supplying cleaning water to the cleaning equipment. There remained the problem that the smaller the amount, the worse the cleaning ability would be.

The characteristic configuration of the paint sludge separation and collection device according to the present invention is that it receives discharged washing water from the washing device, floats and separates paint slag from the stored washing water, and further,
A first weir is provided for a separation tank that supplies treated cleaning water to the cleaning device through a circulation path, and the floating paint slag is discharged from the separation tank along with the overflowing water, and the overflow from the first weir is assisted. A separation tank is installed,
A second weir is provided to allow floating paint slag to flow out together with overflow water from the auxiliary separation tank, and a recovery tank is provided that accommodates a porous collection container that receives overflow water from the second weir and drains and separates paint slag from the received overflow water. established,
A first reflux path for returning treated wash water from the auxiliary separation tank to the separation tank or the cleaning device, and a second reflux path for returning the treated wash water from the recovery tank to the auxiliary separation tank or the separation layer. The functions and effects are as follows.

In other words, since the floating paint slag is transferred from the auxiliary separation tank to the collection container via the second weir, there is a risk that the water level adjustment system of the auxiliary separation tank may malfunction, or trouble may occur when handling the collection container. If a situation arises in which the floating paint slag cannot be transferred to the collection container, during repair work, the first transfer from the separation tank to the auxiliary separation tank
This can be solved by simply stopping the inflow of washing water through the weir, and in order to transfer the floating paint slag to a collection container with limited size as efficiently as possible, it is possible to use an auxiliary separation tank that is limited in water surface area. Therefore, the capacity of the separation tank can be increased and the floating capacity of floating paint slag can be increased, so during repair work, the separation tank can float and separate paint slag in the same or close to normal conditions. It is possible to continue circulating and supplying cleaning water to the cleaning equipment while maintaining the same condition.

Moreover, since the treated cleaning water is returned from the auxiliary separation tank to the separation tank or the cleaning device via the first reflux path, the cleaning water is allowed to flow from the separation tank to the auxiliary separation tank via the first weir. The amount of circulating water supplied to the cleaning equipment does not change depending on whether or not washing water flows into the auxiliary separation tank, and therefore, during repair work, the flow of washing water into the auxiliary separation tank was stopped as described above. Even when the circulating supply of cleaning water to the cleaning device is continued in this state, the same amount of cleaning water as in normal times can be supplied to the cleaning device.

On the other hand, in terms of paint sludge separation and collection efficiency, by overflowing the wash water through the first weir and flowing from the separation tank to the auxiliary separation tank, air bubbles are created in the wash water during the overflow process. Conventionally, a bubble generating device or the like was used to promote the floating of paint slag, but the same effect can be obtained and the floating separation of paint slag can be promoted.

Furthermore, the treated washing water from the recovery tank containing the porous collection container is returned to the auxiliary separation tank or the separation tank through the second circulation path, thereby improving the circulation of washing water between the washing device and the separation tank. By separately circulating the cleaning water, fine paint particles that cannot be collected in one process of separating and collecting paint slag can be grown into paint slag that can be floated and captured in another circulation process. In combination with the promotion of flotation and separation of paint slag due to the inclusion of air bubbles described above, high paint sludge separation and collection efficiency can be obtained.

As a result of the above, the cleaning equipment can continue to operate stably and, for example, it is possible to avoid accidents caused by interrupting the operation of the painting line for repair work on the paint sludge separation and collection equipment side. As an auxiliary device, we have created a paint sludge separation and collection device that is extremely reliable and advantageous in terms of stable operation of the main equipment.

Moreover, since it has a high paint slag separation and collection efficiency, it is advantageous in terms of operating costs, such as reducing the amount of fresh washing water replenishment and cleaning maintenance for adhering paint. It has a relatively simple configuration, such as using a water filter or improving the reflux route of treated washing water, and achieves high paint sludge separation and collection efficiency, making it an advantageous paint sludge separation and collection device in terms of equipment cost. did it.

Figure 6 shows the state in which the wash water treatment operation has been stopped in conjunction with the shutdown of booth 1, and each pump P 1 ,
To stop P 2 and P 3 , all or part of the cleaning water W stored in the storage tank 8 in the cleaning device falls into the separation tank 9 side, and the water levels in the separation tank 9, auxiliary separation tank 14, and recovery tank 16 rise. However, due to the partition wall 20 provided at the inlet part where the overflow water from the first weir 12 flows into the auxiliary separation tank 14, the auxiliary separation tank 14 and the recovery tank 1 are separated.
The floating paint slag that has already moved to the 6 side is prevented from flowing back to the separation tank 9 side.

Container 1 for collecting floating paint slag accumulated in auxiliary separation tank 14
The operation of the third pump P 3 when shifting to 7 is as follows:
Although this is automatically performed based on information from a water surface monitoring center 21 such as an ultrasonic type installed in the auxiliary separation tank 14, various problems such as problems occurring with the water surface monitoring sensor 21 may occur. Due to a problem, a situation occurred in which the accumulated floating paint slag in the auxiliary separation tank 14 could not be transferred to the collection container 17. Therefore, repairs for the problem were carried out while stopping any further accumulation of floating paint in the auxiliary separation tank 14. When it becomes necessary to carry out work, as shown in FIG. 7, during the repair work, the second pump P2 is stopped to stop the flushing water from flowing from the separation tank 9 to the auxiliary separation tank 14. During the repair work, the 1st pump P 1
The operation continues, and while the paint slag floats and separates in the separation tank 9, the supply of cleaning water to the cleaning device is maintained.

Note that the separation tank 9 has a storage capacity ten to several dozen times that of the auxiliary separation tank 14.
Since the floating capacity of the floating paint slag is quite large compared to the above, the floating paint slag is separated by continuing circulation of cleaning water between the cleaning device and the separation tank 9 while stopping the flow of the floating paint slag to the auxiliary separation tank 14. There is no particular problem even if the flotation and separation of paint slag in tank 9 is continued for a long time.

In other words, from the viewpoint of collecting floating paint slag in the separation tank 9, the first weir 12 is arranged locally on the tank wall.
In this case, there are areas where floating paint slag tends to accumulate depending on the position on the surface of the pooled water. Therefore, as described above, by generating the surface flow f toward the first weir 12 over a wide area using the inflow washing water W, the accumulation of floating paint slag is prevented and the floating paint slag accumulation efficiency is increased.
As a result, the paint slag separation and collection efficiency is improved.
