Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a proper ordered quantity by predicting future consumption from past actual result consumption, and predicting the future volume of inventories and finding the ordered quantity on the basis of the volume of inventories. CONSTITUTION:The future consumption is found by totalizing the past consumption, the predicted volume of inventories at a future next-time ordering point of time is calculated from the volume of inventories, delivery quantity, nondelivery quantity, predicted consumption, and breakage correction value at the time of last ordering, and the ordered quantity is calculated on the basis of the predicted volume of inventories which is calculated. For example, the consumption of chemicals is extracted from a data base for receipts (11), a file is given information to be distributed, and the consumption is automatically distributed according to the information (12). How many weeks the consumption is averaged for can be registered in an ordering parameter file by chemicals. The predicted consumption is calculated by multiplying the daily mean predicted consumption by the number of days up to a next ordering day (13). The proper future volume of inventories is calculated from the predicted consumption and the current ordering quantity is determined according to the calculated volume of inventories (14).

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, the ordering system based on the management of order outages places an order based on the difference between the appropriate inventory quantity and the inventory quantity at the time of ordering when the inventory quantity at the time of ordering becomes smaller than the preset ordering point. In the conventional ordering system based on the order outage management, the number of orders is calculated based on the stock quantity at the time of ordering, so that the tendency of consumption is not considered at all. Therefore, there has been a problem that the order quantity for an item whose consumption changes in a short period is not appropriate.

The ordering method based on the expected stock amount of the present invention is a means for calculating a future consumption amount predicted from a past consumption amount when ordering a consumer product, and the future consumption amount. It has means for calculating an appropriate future inventory quantity based on the quantity, and means for determining the current order quantity based on the future inventory quantity.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, first, the past consumption amount is totaled to obtain a future expected consumption amount (step 1). Next, calculate the expected inventory amount at the time of the next order in the future from the inventory amount, delivered number, undelivered number, expected consumption amount, and damage correction value at the time of the previous order, and calculate the ordered amount based on the calculated expected inventory amount. Calculate (step 2).

FIG. 2 is a flow chart showing an example in which the above ordering system is applied to a drug ordering business. The consumption amount of the medicine is extracted from the receipt database (step 11). Drugs may be in stock at each department of the hospital, and the data issued from the pharmacy to each department cannot be treated as consumption data. Also,
It is difficult to judge the tendency of the consumption data, such as cold medicine, whose consumption varies depending on the time from the shipping data. For the above reasons, the data for receipt is used.

By the way, there are heat roses depending on chemicals. With such medicines, the amount of receipt consumption and the medicines subject to order management do not have a one-to-one correspondence. A concrete example is A
If both tablets and heat are present, the order is A
There are two items, the lock heat and the A lock, but the order for the receipt data is only A locks. Therefore, when there are heat variations, it is necessary to divide consumption data into heat portions and individual portions. Therefore, the information to be distributed is provided in the file, and the consumption amount is automatically distributed based on the information (step 12).

The consumption amount for the last 10 weeks is registered in the ordering parameter file, and usually the expected average consumption amount per day in the future is calculated from the average value. The number of weeks of consumption average can be registered for each drug in the ordering parameter file. The expected average consumption per day obtained is multiplied by the number of days until the next ordering date to obtain the expected consumption (step 13).

FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram showing a procedure for obtaining a future expected stock amount based on the expected consumption amount. The feature is that the inventory quantity at the time of ordering is calculated. This is because the delivery data is not treated as consumption data, and thus the inventory amount resulting from addition and subtraction based on the receipt and delivery data cannot be treated as the inventory amount at the time of ordering.

The minimum retained inventory amount is subtracted from the expected inventory amount at the time of the next ordering date, and the predicted excess inventory amount is calculated. If the expected surplus inventory is negative, it is expected that it will run out of stock if it is consumed as expected, so it is necessary to place an order. The quantity to be ordered may be the quantity to compensate for the expected shortfall (step 14).

As described above, according to the present invention, the future inventory amount is predicted by predicting the future consumption amount from the past consumption record, and the order quantity is obtained based on the predicted inventory amount. Therefore, the number of orders is the minimum required, and there is an effect of reducing the excess inventory due to excessive orders.
