Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate a computer immediately by driving both a routine operation pump and a back-up operation pump simultaneously if the temperature of cooling water is lower when starting the computer and promoting an increase in the temperature of water induced by pumping heat. CONSTITUTION:A computer cooling device 2 comprises a pump unit 3 which provides a routine operation pump 6 and a back-up operation pump 6, a refrigeration unit 4 and a back-up refrigeration unit 5. During routine operation, the pump 6 supplies cooled water to a CPU 1 and robs the CPU 1 of its generation heat and returns the warmed cooled water to the cooling device 2. 発明ではt4 と小さくなり、CPUの立上げ時間を短縮
することが可能となる。

前記冷凍装置と前記バックアップ用冷凍装置を同時運転
し、水温低下を促進させることを特徴とするコンピュー
