Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a diving mask with a display part formed in such a way that the indication of measuring instruments can be seen at the glass face body part of the diving mask. CONSTITUTION:The indication of measuring instruments is produced on the glass face body part 2 of a diving mask 1, and this indication is image-formed into a desired position through a hologram 3 so as to be visible in the display part of the diving mask 1.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, in the case of equipment diving (scuba) for diving using a diving mask and a high pressure tank (cylinder) for breathing gas, it is necessary to constantly check the water depth, tank internal pressure, diving time, direction, etc. ..

Usually, the following measuring instruments are used for instrument diving.

During diving, the elapsed time of diving is confirmed by a submersible clock carried and the depth is confirmed by a depth meter. Use a residual pressure gauge to check the amount of air remaining in the tank, which decreases over time, and then raise it. Also, check the amount of air required to stop underwater due to decompression in water. The azimuth compass confirms the azimuth when moving underwater.

In such equipment diving, there are many serious accidents due to failure or failure to check the above instruments, and there is a high possibility that they will occur in the future.

The residual pressure gauge of the above-mentioned instruments displays the pressure of air in the tank, but cannot be seen because the high-pressure tank is mounted on the back. For this purpose, connect the residual pressure gauge with a high pressure hose of about 1 meter to the respiratory high pressure part located on the back, and when diving, put this residual pressure gauge on the body side or sandwich it with a strap, band, etc. It is taken out and inspected.

Further, among the above-mentioned measuring instruments, those in which the residual pressure gauge and the depth gauge are put in the same case are generally popular, and those in which an azimuth compass is further incorporated are the second most popular. However, in order to see the display on any of the measuring instruments, the act of diving must be interrupted.

Further, there is a risk that the residual pressure gauge hung on the body side may be entangled with and caught in an underwater structure (reef, caisson, tetra, fishing net) or the like.

FIG. 1 shows a diving mask, 1 is a diving mask main body, and 2 is its glass face portion. In the present invention, at least a part of the glass surface portion 2 is composed of a hologram 3 for image display such as a Lippmann hologram, and a display portion 4 is formed in the hologram 3 as shown in FIG. The instruction of the various measuring instruments is displayed on the screen, and a light source 6 for irradiating the hologram grating 5 of the hologram 3 with light is provided at a desired portion of the mask body 1,
When the light from the light source 6 is applied to the display section 4 through the hologram grating 5 and reflected, the image of the display section 4 is diffracted by the hologram grating 5 and enters the eye 7 of the diver. Is formed to be several times as large as the distance between the display portions 4. Such holograms can be easily made by conventional techniques.

Normally, there is only a few centimeters between the glass surface portion 2 and the eyes of the diver wearing the diving mask body 1, so when the display portion is formed on the glass surface portion, it is out of focus and is not visible. Although it is not possible to visually recognize the instruction of the display unit, in the present invention, since the instruction of the display unit is configured to be viewed through the hologram as described above, the instruction of the display unit is sufficiently far from the eye to focus. Since it appears in the part where it is shown, it becomes possible to catch this visually.

As described above, according to the diving mask having the display unit of the present invention, the conventional drawbacks can be eliminated, and the instructions of each measuring instrument can be read at any time, when necessary, without interrupting the work. There are great benefits to being able to do it.
