−17の大部分が仕切板16の送風機14側すなわち送
風通路内に突出するようにしてある。そして、上記保護
カバ−17内に圧縮機の速度制御用のインバ−タ装置か
ら分離されたリアクタ−1が配設されている。

ニットを構成する電気部品をスペ−ス効率よく室外ユニ
ットに収納することができるとともに、送風通路内の保
護カバ−を介してリアクタを冷却することができ、しか
もリアクタ−が設置されている保護カバ−内部が圧縮機
側に開放しているので、リアクタ−とインバ−タ装置の
接続配線を圧縮機室内で行うことができ、雨風に配線が
さらされることがなく、寿命を長くすることができる。
さらに、リアクタ−収納室内でリアクタ−により熱せら
れた空気が圧縮機室へと流れ、リアクタ−収納室内部に
熱気が溜まることを防止でき、リアクタ−収納室内部の
温度上昇をより確実に防止できる。
