Abstract

PURPOSE:To mix an adhesive simply and efficiently by employing a technique by which to mix a prepolymer or a polymer having a reactive group which performs the same operation in a specified number of times using a difference between their specific gravities. CONSTITUTION:A two-liquid container consists of the first container with an extraction orifice where a prepolymer or a polymer having a reactive group is stored and the second container where a liquid crosslinking agent is stored, as an attachment to the former. The second container is rammed through by a bar with a pointed tip so that the prepolymer or polymer having a reactive group is allowed to come in contact with the crosslinking agent. In addition, the second container is maintained in an air-tight state with the bar and the two-liquid container is turned upside down. Further, the second container is left stationary as it is to allow the materials to be mixed by a difference in their respective specific gravity. After that, the two-liquid container is again turned upside down and the same operation is repeated. Thus an adhesive can be prepared easily without troublesome operation.

2. Description of the Related Art To mount a small electronic component on a printed circuit board, the electronic component is temporarily attached to a predetermined position on the printed circuit board with an adhesive, and then soldered by molten solder to fix the electronic component to the wiring conductor. It is widely practiced to make an electrical connection with. Various methods are performed to automatically perform this step, but basically, a large number of electronic components are temporarily mounted on a horizontally placed printed circuit board by an automatic mounting device, and then the printed circuit board is turned upside down (or (Not turned over), contacting the entire printed circuit board with molten solder. Therefore, the adhesive used for temporary attachment requires sufficient adhesive strength to prevent the electronic components from falling off or slipping even when the printed circuit board is inverted or heated, while it can correct the posture even if it shifts. Requires liquidity. or,
It is necessary to supply efficient adhesive. There are various factors as the requirements for this, but the main ones are that the tackiness of the adhesive is sufficiently high, that the adhesive can be supplied in a sufficient amount that can be adjusted at one time and with good reproducibility, Good cutting (no threading from the dispenser nozzle),
And so on.

2 to 3, the supply tank 2 for the adhesive 11 is maintained at a predetermined constant pressure so that the droplet of the adhesive is ejected from the ejection nozzle 5 by opening the solenoid valve 4, and preferably the ejection nozzle 5 is used. In order to make the viscosity of the adhesive passing through it constant, the other parts are kept at a constant temperature. Adhesive 1
1 is led from the conduit 3 to the solenoid valve 4. By controlling the opening time in the solenoid valve 4, a fixed amount of adhesive measured is discharged from the injection nozzle 5. The tip of the injection nozzle 5 when not in use is always wet with water to prevent it from drying. The tip of the injection nozzle is preferably coated with a water-repellent material such as a fluororesin in order to improve liquid drainage. The adhesive enters the valve chamber 19 from the conduit 3 via the internal passage 17 of the housing 25. The upper end of the injection nozzle 5 is formed with an outlet valve seat 26, and the outlet 20 is normally closed because the valve body 20 is always biased downward by the compression spring 21. When the valve body 20 is pulled up by the electromagnetic coil 24, the valve body 20 enables the adhesive to flow to the injection nozzle 5, and the adhesive under pressure is dropletized and discharged from the injection nozzle 5. The valve body 20 is made of a soft magnetic material, and the magnetic core 22 is similarly provided above it.
Is screwed in and fixed by a nut 23. The electromagnetic coil 24 is powered by the lead 27. The power supply time is set to an arbitrary predetermined value by an adjuster (not shown), and the supply amount of one drop of the adhesive required to temporarily fix the electronic component is arbitrarily adjusted.

According to the above dispenser, the amount of liquid per drop can be controlled more precisely than the conventional coating method in which the adhesive discharge port of the dispenser contacts the substrate after each coating. However, when using a thermosetting material that is particularly suitable as an adhesive, it is difficult to mix the prepolymer having a reactive group or the main agent consisting of the polymer with the liquid crosslinking agent and setting it in the dispenser. ,
Simple means and methods are required.

The present invention also provides a mixing method using the above-mentioned container, wherein the second container is breached by the tip rod-like body to combine the prepolymer having a reactive group or the polymer and the crosslinking agent. Along with holding the sealed state with the rod-shaped body, the two-liquid container is turned upside down and left to stand for mixing due to the difference in specific gravity, and then turned upside down again to perform the same operation. Next, an example of the mixing apparatus of the present invention will be described.
In FIG. 1, 56 is an annular lower-end support that supports the lower end of the two-liquid container 30, 58 is an annular middle-portion support that supports the middle, and 60 is an annular upper-end support that holds down the upper end. The opening of the upper end support body 60 is sized to allow the rod-shaped body 54 to pass therethrough. The supports 56 and 58 are integrally supported by a pivot (not shown) and can be turned upside down by a rotating means (not shown). Further, the support body 60 can be attached to and detached from the support bodies 56 and 58. Reference numeral 62 denotes a hydraulic device (which may be an electric device), which is composed of a cylinder and a piston that supports the rod-shaped body 54, and advances or retracts the rod-shaped body 54 by supplying liquid to the cylinder. The lower end of the rod-shaped body 54 is a pointed end, and has several vertical grooves 64 around which the adhesive is released.

Next, the mixing method of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. First, the two-component container 30 of (a) is inserted into the annular portions of the supports 56 and 58 with the extraction port facing down as shown in (b), and then held by the support 60. Next, by activating the hydraulic device 62,
The tips of the rods 54 pierce the walls 44, 46 of the second container and then the rods are advanced to (c). This causes the curing agent to flow down into the main agent. If the adhesive is left as it is, the adhesive will be mixed into the main resin due to the difference in specific gravity from the main resin. When the curing agent reaches the vicinity of the extraction port, the supports 56, 58 and 60 are rotated as shown by the arrows to invert the two-liquid container and make it stand at the position (d). When the same reverse stationary is continued several times, a predetermined mixing is achieved. If the reversal is made too fast, the mixing will be slowed down. If the rotation is too slow, the dead time increases, so an appropriate rest time is set.
