Conventionally, in this type of refueling vehicle, a work platform for workers to ride on and perform refueling work is provided in front or behind the tank so that it can be raised and lowered freely, and this work bench is equipped with a foldable handrail for safety. It is provided.

This handrail is installed on the roof of the machine room that houses the refueling equipment so that it does not protrude too much above the upper edge of the tank when the work platform is lowered, so that it does not become an obstacle while the work platform is being lowered. Raising and lowering was performed by a link-type lifting device below the platform. In this case, it is troublesome to erect and retract the handrail each time the workbench is raised or lowered, and this becomes an obstacle to the work. For this reason, some handrails are installed so that they can be lowered to a position where the upper edge of the handrail does not protrude beyond the upper edge of the tank while the handrail remains upright, but this lowers the floor of the workbench when it is stored. However, the height of the machine room is lower, making it impossible to accommodate large refueling equipment such as filters and hose reels, and separate space is required for the machine room and workbench, making the structure complex and increasing the overall length of the vehicle. This resulted in drawbacks such as sagging and making it difficult to drive.

In addition, a link-type lifting device has two link mechanisms in which the central parts of two links are pivotally connected to each other.
In the case of a workbench with foldable handrails, this elevating device should be installed between the workbench and the roof of the machine room. The roof of the machine room was lowered by the height of this lifting device. Attach the lifting device to the vehicle frame rather than the roof of the machine room, lower the floor level of the workbench when it is stored by the height of the lifting device, and store the workbench without folding the handrail. If this is the case, the lifting amount will be large, and the lifting device will therefore be large, and link mechanisms will be installed in parallel at the front and back, but the space between them cannot be used as a machine room, and the link mechanism It becomes impossible to operate the refueling equipment from a certain front and back direction. Therefore, even if a machine room and a workbench are provided at the rear of the link, it is impossible to operate the refueling equipment from the rear.

This invention uses a vertical guide type lifting device.
A workbench is installed at the rear of the tank, and when the workbench is in the lowered position, the upper edge of the handrail is located at approximately the same height as or below the upper edge of the tank, and the handrail is positioned below the workbench. By forming a space that accommodates the refueling equipment, it is possible to operate the refueling equipment from three sides: left, right, side, and rear, which reduces the space required to mount the vehicle and shortens the overall length of the vehicle, making it easier to drive. In addition, the present invention aims to provide a refueling vehicle that does not require handrail folding work and has good work efficiency.

In the figure, numeral 1 indicates a refueling vehicle, which is constructed as follows. That is, 3 is a tank mounted on the chassis 5, which stores fuel for refueling the aircraft. Reference numeral 7 indicates a worktable that can be raised and lowered at the rear of the tank 3, 9 indicates a lifting device for raising and lowering the workbench 7, 11 indicates the front and rear of the workbench 7,
These are handrails erected on the left and right side edges. Reference numeral 13 denotes a pump rotated by the drive of an engine (not shown), which pumps the fuel in the tank 3 through refueling devices such as a strainer 15, a filter 17, and a flow meter 19.
The fuel tank (not shown) of the aircraft is supplied with fuel from the fuel supply hose 21. 23 is the oil supply pipe 25
27 is an adapter for connecting the hose 21 to the fuel tank of the aircraft. Reference numeral 29 denotes a space formed below the workbench 7, in which a filter 17, a flow meter 19, and a portable fuel can 31 are accommodated.

The lifting device 9 is constructed as follows. That is, 33 is a channel-type vertical guide installed facing each other on the chassis 5, and guide rollers 37 provided above and below both ends of the front end frame 35 of the workbench 7,
37 is engaged. 39, the lower end is seated 5
A hydraulic cylinder whose upper end is pivotally connected to the front end frame 35 moves the workbench 7 up and down by telescopic operation. When the workbench 7 is lowered, the upper edge of the handrail 11 is located at approximately the same level as the upper edge of the tank 3 or below the upper edge of the tank. Reference numeral 41 denotes a ladder provided at the rear edge of the workbench 7, which is extendable and retractable.

In the embodiments described above, when performing refueling work, when the hydraulic cylinder 39 is extended, the work platform 7 is guided by the vertical guide 33 and raised. The worker climbs onto the workbench 7 via the ladder 41, connects the adapter 27 to the fuel tank of the aircraft, and supplies the fuel in the tank 3 to the aircraft using the pump 13 via the filter 17 and flow meter 19. It is something to do. After the work is completed, when the adapter 27 is removed and the hydraulic cylinder 39 is contracted to lower the work platform 7, the upper edge of the handrail 11 will not protrude beyond the upper edge of the tank 3, which will cause problems when traveling. Never.
