It is a figure showing an example of composition of a paper transportation system of a photocopier. Each developing machine unit 100
A charger 107, a latent image writing unit 102, and a developing device 1 are provided around an electrostatic latent image carrier 101 including a photosensitive drum.
03 and a cleaner 106 are arranged, a toner image corresponding to the image information of each color is formed on the electrostatic latent image carrier 101, and the corresponding toner is applied to the paper conveyed by the paper conveying belt 1 which is an endless belt. Transfer image Corotron 10
5, the electrostatic transfer is sequentially performed. Therefore,
The sheet carried out from the supply tray 120 is attracted to the sheet conveying belt 1 by the electrostatic attraction force of the sheet attracting corotron 4 at a predetermined timing, and the toner image of each color is sequentially obtained from each developing unit 100 as the sheet progresses. Is transferred to carry a full-color toner image. Then, after the transfer of all the toner images is completed, the paper is peeled off from the paper transport belt 1 and then sent out onto the discharge tray 114 via the fixing device 113, and the recording of the color image is completed. On the other hand, the sheet conveyor belt 1 is neutralized by the belt neutralizer 117 prior to the next image recording cycle. In FIG. 13, 3 is a pressing roller, 5 is a support roller, 6 is a delivery roller, and 110 is the paper transport belt 1.
Is a static eliminator for peeling off the paper on which the transfer of the toner image is completed, 115 and 116 are rollers, and 118 is a cleaner.

The method of introducing the paper P into the paper or the method of introducing the paper P directly below the suction roll 3 at a predetermined plunge angle α with respect to the paper transport belt 1 as shown in FIG. 14B is adopted. In the above, there was a problem that a toner image transfer failure on the paper P may occur, and when the degree is severe, so-called image omission occurs.

Is not always smooth, and a paper containing a large amount of water or a paper partially moistened with undulations or wrinkles in the horizontal or vertical direction may be used. In such a case, the paper P is used. Does not stick to the paper transport belt 1 smoothly, and a part of the paper P floats from the paper transport belt 1, resulting in defective transfer and image loss.

As shown in FIG. 5, a roll shaft 11 in which the roll portion 11 is arranged in a so-called dumpling shape may be used. However, when such a roller is used, the paper P is initially in a smooth state. In this case, as shown in FIG. 9B, the sheet rushes into the sheet conveying belt 1 while maintaining the vertical swell, so that the same problem as described above may occur. Even if a sheet is used, the same problem occurs when the sheet is curled, wrinkled, or has a so-called peculiarity during the conveyance and enters the sheet conveyance belt 1. There are things.

Paper suction means is arranged between the drive roller 2 and the support roller 5. That is, the pressing roller 3 is in contact with the paper transport belt 1 with a predetermined load on the paper suction side of the paper transport belt 1.
An adsorption corotron 4 for supplying an electric charge for adsorbing the sheet to the sheet conveying belt 1 is arranged on the opposite side of the sheet sandwiching the sheet. A chute 9 that guides the paper to the pressing roller 3 and chutes 7 and 8 that guide the paper from the feed-out roller 6 to the paper suction means are arranged above the paper transport belt 1 on the side where the paper is sucked. These chutes 7, 8 and 9 constitute the sheet introducing means in the present invention.

At the position of, the sheet feeds into the sheet conveyance belt 1, is bent as shown in FIG. 2, and enters the sheet suction means along the sheet conveyance belt 1. Here, the plunge angle α is an angle exceeding 0 °,
It can be arbitrarily determined within the range of angles up to about ° as required. Also, with respect to the distance t, if the distance t is made too large, the above-mentioned problems occur, so it is preferable to set it to about 5 cm to 20 cm.

The load of 6 kV and the pressing roller 3 is 200 gf. As the paper, a new smooth paper with a moisture content of about 5% (hereinafter referred to as paper 1) is left in a high humidity environment with a stack of 250 sheets, and as shown in FIG. 3 sheets of paper (hereinafter referred to as paper 2) that has a curl in the width direction as shown in FIG. 3B and has a float of about 10 mm when placed on a flat surface (hereinafter referred to as paper 3). Used different types of paper. The paper size was A3 and the paper was fed vertically. In FIGS. 4 to 12, the mark “◯” indicates that the image was properly copied without any omission of the image, the mark “Δ” indicates that the omission of the image occasionally occurred, and the mark “x” represents the image. Indicates that image dropouts frequently occurred. Therefore, for example, in FIG. 5, it can be seen that image loss frequently occurs when α is 5 ° and 10 ° in the configuration of FIG. 4, and t is 10 mm, α in the configuration of the present invention shown in FIG. It can be seen that image dropouts sometimes occurred when were 5 ° and 10 °.

It has been confirmed that the sheet is folded at the time when the sheet enters the sheet conveying belt 1 and smoothed as shown in FIG.
Further, as can be easily understood from FIGS. 4 to 12, it is understood that the transfer failure can be prevented by selecting t and α.
