In the conventional die polishing machine, as shown in FIG. 5, a round die 21 is polished as follows. That is, the die hole 19 of the die 21 is placed on the work table 24 with the conical polishing needle 18 detachably attached to the chuck of the vertical mover 20.
The polishing needle 18 is moved up and down A by the vertical mover 20, and at the same time the die 21 is moved up and down by the drive belt 22.
By pulling in one direction, a pressure B is applied to the polished surface of the die hole 21 while a rotational motion C of the rotary driver 23 is applied, and the drawn surface of the die hole 21 is polished to a mirror finish.

In addition, when polishing an irregularly shaped die using a polishing machine as shown in Fig. 5, a polishing needle of the same shape as the die hole is inserted into the hole of the irregularly shaped die, and the polishing needle is removed without rotating the irregularly shaped die. Polishing is performed by moving up and down.

In the case of ○A, the polished surface will be finely finished, but since there is no pressure on the polished surface, the polishing time will be longer.
Furthermore, since it is difficult to finish the corners according to the dimensions, there is a drawback that the finishing process requires a skilled engineer to manually finish the corners.

In addition, in the case of ○Ro, the polished surface is finished neatly and the corners are easy to obtain precision, but the technique of pushing the die with both hands is difficult, and in order to finish the die hole with precision, it is difficult to press the die with both hands. This method requires a highly skilled technician, and also has the disadvantage of being labor intensive, requiring one technician for each polishing machine.

In case of ○C, the workability is good, but because the polishing needle swings, it moves in a state where it collides with the die hole from multiple angles, and the corner of the polishing needle hits the die hole, causing the die hole to be drawn out. becomes satin-like. If this die is used as is for wire drawing, not only will the surface of the metal wire become rough, but also the drawing friction resistance will increase, resulting in various adverse effects. For this reason, the die hole drawing surface of the die must be further polished to a mirror finish. In addition, the corners of the die hole are not acute, but rather rounded, which also has the disadvantage of requiring finishing polishing by a skilled technician.

In order to achieve the above object, the work table device for a die polishing machine according to the present invention is provided with a vertical mover installed via an arm on a column vertically installed on one side of the machine body, A polishing needle is removably attached to the machine, and the polishing needle is inserted into the die hole of the die placed on the machine body below, and the die is moved up and down while being pressed against the polishing needle with a pressing means. In a die polishing machine that polishes a die hole by moving a polishing needle up and down with a tool, a disk-shaped die is mounted on the machine body at a position opposite to the polishing needle, and the die to be polished is fixed in a replaceable manner. The mounting base is movably mounted, and the cross section L is spaced apart from the die mounting base.
A tension device fixture having a generally arcuate shape is disposed, and the tension device fixture includes a slide having a tension roller pivotally attached to one end and a tension adjustment nut screwed to the other end via a spring. A plurality of tension devices having shafts slidably attached thereto are provided, and a belt is stretched between the die mounting base and each tension roller of the tension device.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a die polishing machine 2 using the work table device 1 for a die polishing machine of the present invention. The polishing needle 18 is removably attached to the chuck at the bottom of the vertical mover 20, and can be moved up and down by the vertical mover 20 with the polishing needle 18 inserted into the die hole 19. This is what happens. Then, by the tension device 6, the polishing needle 18 is polished by vertical movement A while being pressed against the polishing surface 26, as shown in FIG.

Note that three or more tension devices can be attached to the tension device attachment 5, but even if three or more tension devices are used, the effect will not change much, and on the contrary, it will become difficult to adjust the angle and tension of those tension devices. However, since the workability is poor and the production cost is high, it is best to use two pieces.

Further, the tension is adjusted by a tension adjustment nut 14 using the elasticity of the spring 13. A predetermined tension is applied between the polishing needle 18 and the die hole 19 via the belt 16 by the two tension devices 6 mentioned above.

Therefore, when using the above device, the die mounting base 15 to which the die is fixed is pulled in a constant direction and with a constant tension by two belts and a tension device, so that the polishing needle 18 is moved into the die hole 19. is pressed against the polishing surface 26 of the vertical mover 2

Once one surface of the die hole 19 has been polished, the other surfaces are sequentially polished by resetting the die and repeating the above-mentioned operation, and the corners of the die hole are also polished at the same time.

By the way, if a single belt is used to pull the die, it will be pulled in only one direction, and slight differences in tension, such as with irregularly shaped dies, may cause the plane to taper or cause distortion, especially at the corners of the die hole. However, in the present invention, it is pulled from two or more directions and polished with high precision.

Since the work table device for a die polishing machine of the present invention has the above-described configuration, the direction in which the belt is pulled can be easily adjusted depending on the shape of the die holes. In addition, the strength of the tension can be easily adjusted using a spring, so the corners of the die hole will be acute regardless of the shape and size of the die hole, and the entire surface of the die hole will have a uniform mirror finish.
This invention has practical effects such as being able to clean efficiently and accurately without relying on skilled techniques.
