Abstract

PURPOSE:To furnish a combustion part member for a gas lighter which makes it possible to increase uniformity of catalytic action, to lessen factors of cost increase in manufacture by enabling reduction of the number of components and further to improve design properties as well. CONSTITUTION:A combustion part member is formed of a flame contact material 2 which is formed in a vortex shape having a vortex surface in a state of intersecting the direction of jetting of flame and of a holding tube 3 which holds this flame contact material at the outer peripheral part of the vortex thereof. As the result, matching of the shape of the flame contact material with the shape of a fuel gas passage can be attained, an improvement in the efficiency of catalytic action by the uniform contact of the flame contact material with a fuel gas and the flame can be realized, design properties are improved and further factors of cost can be lessened since the flame contact material can be held directly by the holding tube.
