ー加工をするもので、この部分で調理中に発生した油煙
の油分を酸化燃焼反応させ、油を水蒸気と炭酸ガスに変
化させる事で、グリスフイルター3の部分にタール分の
付着を防止するものである。図1はレンジフード1の右
側面断面図であって、グリスフイルター3の全面にバッ
フル板4を設けたものである。このバッフル板4をSC
ホーロー加工すると共に、ヒーター6を内蔵させ、バッ
フル板4を昇温する事でクリーニング効果を高めたもの
である。このようにする事で、調理中に発生した油煙
は、バッフル板4の部分でSC触媒により、脂肪酸系の
ものは、低級炭化水素に分解又は、炭酸ガスにまで酸化
されるので、タール状のものは付着しなくなる。
