が厚くなるようにその形状が定められている。ま
た、下型12には前記ヘツド3のフエース1部分
およびソケツト4のキヤビテイ14が形成されて
いる。上記上型11は型本体11aと置中子11
bとから構成され、置中子11bは止めピン11
cによつて型本体11aに固定されるようになつ
ている。置中子11bは前記ヘツド3の重心調整
用の凹部2を形成するためのもので、ワツクスの
注入が終了して硬化するまで型本体11aに固定
されており、離型時に止めピン11cを外すこと
によつて型本体11aと分離され、第1図b,c
に示すように型本体11aの脱型後、ワツクス成
型品15から取り外される。

深い金属クラブヘツドを容易に得ることができ
る。

ツクシエルを除去することによつてクラブヘツド
を得る金属クラブヘツドの製法において、 前記ヘツドのフエースの裏側に設けられる重心
調整用の凹部を形成するワツクス成型金型の肉厚
部を置中子とし、この置中子によつて前記凹部の
最深部の角度を90度以下になるように設定し、か
つソールの肉厚をそのフエース側よりもバツク側
を厚くなるように設定するとともに、ソールの下
面を外方に凸状の円弧形に設定するキヤビテイを
形成することにより、ヘツド裏側のキヤビテイが
大きなワツクス成型金型を形成し、低重心で重心
深度の深い金属クラブヘツドを得ることを特徴と
する金属クラブヘツドの製法。
