(57)【要約】 （修正有） 【目的】僅かな変更で、光か又は白熱電球に供給する電
圧のいずれかを用意する供給チューブ用に選択的に使用
することのできる結合部材を備えた歯科用ハンドピース
の提供。 【構成】握り部1 を有し、これが一端に被動工具用ホル
ダを有し、他端は回転可能に結合部材3 と結合してあ
り、該部材が供給媒質用供給チューブとの結合を実現
し、工具の範囲で出射する光は結合部材3 の凹部内に配
置した白熱電球4 が生成する。白熱電球4 を受容する凹
部5 は結合部材3 内のチューブ側に配置してある。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、握り部を有し、これが
一端に被動工具用ホルダを有し又他端が回転可能に結合
部材と結合してあり、該部材が供給媒質用供給チューブ
との結合を実現し、工具の範囲で出射する光が結合部材
の凹部内に配置した白熱電球により生成される歯科用ハ
ンドピースに関するものである。
【０００２】結合部材は、かかるハンドピースにおい
て、一連の握り部に対し特定種類の供給チューブとの結
合を媒介する機能を有する。さまざまに構成された供給
チューブに付属して各１個の独自の結合部材が設けてあ
り、これが持続的に供給チューブと結合してある。

【従来の技術】周知の結合部材（ドイツ特許明細書第 3
1 04 239号参照）では発光に役立つ白熱電球が結合部材
の工具側末端の中央にある。このことの利点として結合
部材内に通さねばならないのは電気導線だけであり、光
導体ではない。他方供給チューブに光を供給するときに
は、殆ど別様に構成した結合部材をこのため使用しなけ
ればならない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の課題は、僅か
な変更で、光か又は白熱電球に供給する電圧のいずれか
を用意する供給チューブ用に選択的に使用することので
きる結合部材を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】この課題を解決するため
本発明によれば白熱電球を受容する凹部がチューブ側で
結合部材内に配置してある。格別簡単な構造実施は白熱
電球の接続ピンを結合部材のチューブ側端板に挿通する
とき得られる。
【０００６】結合部材の握り部への接続は、光が周知の
如く結合部材の中心から出射するとき特に簡単となる。
それ故、白熱電球を偏心配置した場合、白熱電球から来
る光を平行にずらす鏡配置を設け、光を結合部材から軸
方向に出射させるのが望ましい。供給チューブから電圧
に代え光を供給する場合、本発明による結合部材を装備
変更するには白熱電球に代えガラス棒を挿入すれば十分
である。これでもって結合部材の大部分の部品は両タイ
プの供給チューブに関し同一である。

【実施例】本発明のその他の詳細を引き続き図面を基に
説明する。図１の歯科用ハンドピースは握り部１からな
り、図示省略した工具用のホルダ２を有し、工具は空気
タービン10を介し駆動可能である。握り部１内に光導体
11が通してある。これから出射する光は工具範囲に向け
てある。
【０００８】各種の供給チューブで運転できるようにす
るため握り部１はその都度好適な結合部材３に接続する
ことができ、該部材が図示省略した供給チューブとの結
合を実現する。結合部材３は握り部１に対し回転可能
に、容易に着脱可能な速動式カップリング12を介し結合
してある。本発明によれば、結合部材３の握り部１から
離れた方の側で結合部材３に凹部５が設けてあり、該凹
部内に設けてある白熱電球４が光導体11内に供給される
光を生成する。白熱電球４の接続ピン６は結合部材３の
端板７に挿通してあり、それ故供給チューブの図示省略
した端部内に直接挿入することができる。駆動空気用ノ
ズル14、戻り空気用ノズル15、処理用空気用ノズル16及
び水用ノズル17についても同じことが妥当する。
【０００９】空気及び水の伝導は握り部１と結合部材３
との間の回転可能な結合を通して従来どおり行われる
が、白熱電球４を結合部材３のチューブ側末端に配置す
る点は新規である。白熱電球４の偏心配置にも拘らず光
線を光導体11の端面から中心で出射させるため白熱電球
４に続いて鏡配置８としてプリズムが設けてあり、これ
はねじ13を外したのち取り外すことができる。
【００１０】図３の３ａ、３ｂ及び３ｃから明らかとな
るように結合部材３は白熱電球４を配置する必要がない
ときでも、供給チューブから既に光束が結合部材３に提
供されるので殆ど変更なしである。ここでは例えばガラ
ス棒９又はその他の、供給された光を転送するのに役立
つだけの受動装置が白熱電球４の代わりとしてある。図
４からわかるように製造業者は希望する結合部材３を生
成するのにガラス棒９と白熱電球４との間で選択を行う
だけでよく、接続部品３のその他の部品はそのままであ
る。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 握り部を有し、これが一端に被動工具用
    ホルダを有し又他端が回転可能に結合部材と結合してあ
    り、該部材が供給媒質用供給チューブとの結合を実現
    し、工具の範囲で出射する光が結合部材の凹部内に配置
    した白熱電球により生成される歯科用ハンドピースにお
    いて、白熱電球(4) を受容する凹部(5)がチューブ側で
    結合部材(3) 内に配置してあることを特徴とする歯科用
    ハンドピース。
  2. 【請求項２】 白熱電球(4) の接続ピン(6) が結合部材
    (3) のチューブ側端板(7) に挿通してあることを特徴と
    する請求項１記載の歯科用ハンドピース。
  3. 【請求項３】 鏡配置(8) が設けてあり、これが白熱電
    球(4) から来る光を平行にずらし、光が結合部材(3) か
    ら軸方向に出射することを特徴とする請求項１又は２記
    載の歯科用ハンドピース。
  4. 【請求項４】 凹部(5) 内に白熱電球(4) に代えガラス
    棒(9) を挿入可能であることを特徴とする請求項１〜３
    のいずれか１項記載の歯科用ハンドピース。
